Great haircut and a very friendly salon with gorgeous products!

Recently went to this salon for the first time. I was really pleased with my cut and style and was given great tips for easier styling. They listened to what I asked for. The true test is recreating it yourself. I got exactly the cut I wanted and it's so easy now and I definitely have the feel good factor!
Definitely would recommend to anyone and will be going back ????

My first time here, lovely staff, they really take care of you and make you feel comfortable. The atmosphere is relaxing too. Shazia did my wash and cut, and listened to what I wanted before she gave her own recommendations and that was really helpful and made me feel at ease. Happy with the result - for the first time in a long time - and this is definitely my go-to hairdressers from now on! (One negative is that I think I was overcharged and the price wasn't really broken down for me.)

Just visited for half head of highlights and cut and finish and I am very happy with my hair. Sarah did the highlights and the colour is exactly what I asked for and very nicely done and natural looking. Maggie did my cut and did a lovely job as I have very thick hair and a lot of hairdressers don't understand how it needs to be cut to fall well. Everyone in the salon was genuinely friendly and I felt that I was properly listened to when discussing what I wanted and I got the result I was after. Reasonably priced, not at all rushed and a very nice salon. I will definitely return

I have my hair cut at THC and have been doing so for some while now. What I like about THC is that they always listen to my ideas of how I'd like my hair cut and styled and give their views as well. My hairdresser is skilled and I am always pleased with my hair and how it grows out. I also love chatting to her so I can say it is consistently a great experience.

I LOVE THC ! I have been going here for 2 or 3-years now and it's just about my favourite salon so far (I'm 43 and tried a few!). The lovely Sarah is a fantastic colourist, she's honest and has a good eye for what will suit my hair. I've had several people cut and style and I can fault any of them, which is fab because it gives me flexibility on when I visit. Aveda is a great product and the salon deserves the product.

Rocked up for the first time at this quaint little salon and had a skin test for colour and booked appointment for 48hrs later. Staff were warm, welcoming and efficient.

Never having met me the stylist talked through what I wanted and after a relaxing time I left with a few sample product's to sustain and improve the quality of my hair and exactly what I had asked for but better. Fantastic cut and styled to perfection so much so that I woke up the next day with beautiful hair. The colour is so shiny and precisely what I asked for.

Far & away the best hair salon in the area. I have highlighted hair & I used to go to a very smart London hairdressers. When moving to Herts, I had a 'hair-raising' trial & error search for somewhere as good, finally I found THC & it was a relief!

The salon itself is really nice - modern but relaxing.
The stylists & colourists are great. Very well trained & skilled, professional & friendly. I think a blow dry is a great initial test of a new hair salon & they really know what they're doing.
They use Aveda products which are good quality.
I'm always happy with the end result, particularly as it is such good value.
I'm actually reluctant to tell anyone about it as it might make it hard to get an appointment if too many people know!

Great experience haven't been to a salon for ages had my hair done with chyna love the colour and cut and the young girl with very long hair that washed my hair done a great job too. Everyone nice and friendly.

Very happy with the hair cut and colour. Always looks good. Less impressed with the salon "experience". Maybe I am comparing to London salons. Asked for water several times, didn't arrive. Wouldn't describe it as a pampering experience but very pleased with Aveda colour.

I started coming to this salon because I wanted as chemical free colour for my hair as possible. Not only is the colour really natural the cut has been excellent which ever stylist I have had.

I haven't been in a salon for years as I have a hair dresser come to my home, I really enjoyed my experience there, the staff were really welcoming, even when booking the appointment. My stylist was lovely too, was nice to have a hairdresser who can have a nice conversation with you. Will definitely be going there again :D

I've been going to the hairdressing co for some years but have recently started taking my 12 year old as well. I love that the staff talk to her and ask what she wants and then check that's its ok with me. Always a great cut and lovely staff make her feel soecisl

An attentive team greeted me when i arrived. They were calm and polite even though they were really busy. Chynna cut my hair, she always does an excellent job. She is professional, talented and skillful. I love the way she cuts my hair.

Upset hairdresser cut more off than i wanted.

I've been looking for a good hairdresser for over a year, since my regular one left the profession. The excellent online reviews made me try The Hairdressing Company. I was lucky enough to pick Maggie who was brilliant. She listened to my ideas about what style I wanted, looked at my hair and asked lots of questions and then advised me. The cut she did for me is brilliant, the best I've had for years! And amazingly once home it still looks great after I've washed and styled it myself. Thanks Maggie!

I've been going to THC for the last year or so and they are just fantastic! I always enjoy my visit, they're friendly, professional, highly skilled and attentive too. Nothing is too much trouble and the one time they were running a bit behind, they offered a free conditioning treatment to make up for it! It's a quiet and relaxing salon and I'm always pleased with the result. My hair feels and looks better than it has in years, I no longer have a sensitive and irritated scalp and I'm sure this is down to both their sound advice and the Avena colour and styling products used.

Huge compliments to Jenny, for always doing such a great job cutting and styling my very fine hair, and also to Sarah for my colour - I'm so thrilled being blonde now I can't imagine going back!

Went in for a consultation as I wanted a complete new look.

I was a bit unsure of what I actually wanted but, after a good chat with Kate and Sarah we all decided that I was going to from Blonde to Brunette.

I am really pleased with the result of going dark with blended highlights although, it will take a bit of getting used too the dramatic but fab change

Went from blonde to brunette at the expert hands of Sarah. Showed her pictures of what I wanted and Sarah then mixed a unique colour using lots of shades. Sarah was very thorough when colouring my, very thick, hair and then blowed dried IT beautifully. Thank you so much Sarah
