M Salon Bishops Stortford, Hertfordshire

This is a lovely place with helpful staff that does really nice cuts. My sister and I were able to walk in without booking and get our hair cut straight away, which was really convenient. Women's cut and blow-dry is £30-£39, which isn't especially good value but pretty standard for Bishop's Stortford.

Booked in for a short notice lunchtime appointment with Columb, absolutely perfect haircut with great attention to detail, cannot fault, will definitely recommend and be back!

Fantastic experience at M salon. All staff very friendly but professional. Excellent service. Laura Is an amazing colourist; she has such good understanding of what suits the customer & discusses all options. Luke is a brilliant stylist ; my hair falls into place with very little effort on my part, which - got me - is the sign if s good cut.

Everything about M Hair is outstanding - the service, the atmosphere, the experience and my haircut from Stuart.

Excellent service spot on with understanding what I wanted to achieve and finally a hairdresser that really doesn't mess the fringe up when it has a cowlick! Quick as well so no issues with hanging around for long. Liked the separate bit upstairs. Busy salon but you don't feel it. Thanks .

Having everyone tell you how much you've been ripped off and how the hair colour is identical to before is embarrassing. Will have to do it myself. Will not be back.

I booked online at the last minute after decided I wanted to swap my long hair for a wavy Bob. Stuart the stylist was brilliant, he talked me through the process and assured me that everything would be fine. The end result was brilliant and everything I imagined.

Had my first appointment with Stuart today 20/10/15. First class service took time to give me a full consultation before doing my hair. Beautiful head massage during hair washing from lovely blonde young lady (sorry I can't remember your name!)

By far the nicest salon experience I've had! The staff were all incredibly friendly, accommodating and I felt like the hairdresser who cut my hair really listened to what I was saying whilst also putting forward some ideas. My final haircut was one of the best I've had and I'm extremely pleased with both the quality and professionalism of the staff. The salon itself is small but very tidy, chic and welcoming.

This place is amazing - I got my hair coloured and cut there on Saturday after I couldn't get an appointment with my usual hair salon and I'm very impressed. They got my colour exactly how i wanted it and the cut was very good too. The whole experience was very pleasant and everyone was super friendly and helpful. I will most definitely return.

I try with Millers a year and half ago, I really like it and now, I don't want to change to another saloon, my hair stylish is Steward who is really good and patient, today I got cut and blow dry for half price, really appreciated.

I always see it as a treat to go to Stu for a cut and colour. He always knows what he's doing, has brilliant ideas about how to change things up and is honest if he thinks something won't work. It's great to go there and relax with a really friendly stylist who makes you feel welcome. I don't think I'd trust anyone else with my hair; thanks Stu!

I have been a customer of M Hair (formerly Millers) for several years for hair styling and colouring. Well trained and friendly team. Have never left disappointed the salon disappointed. I recently used the online appointment service for the first time - easy to use and you can select your preferred stylist. Very convenient when you want to make an appointment and the salon is closed. HIghly recommended.

Great salon, super friendly staff, I'm always welcomed with big smiles @ M. All the stylists I've had over the years have never disappointed. Megan and Luke Are brilliant and have stood out for me. I've recently had my hair cut by Stuart who is ridiculously creative and talented at what he does -one of those dark horses that appear Maverick but is actually only able to tear up the rule book with fabulous results because he knows it inside out. He has an impressively thorough, holistic approach to hairdressing taking into consideration face shape, lifestyle, confidence etc. He's obsessive about getting his 'lines' right!

As always Colomb did a great job. He's personable and professional.

The salon is modern and stylish and the staff are always very welcoming and accommodating. I've been coming to M for about 5 years and have never been disappointed. Luke always listens to what you want and takes a lot of time and care in the cutting and styling.

I arrived a day early for my appointment due to an error in my diary. Colum came back early fro his lunch break so that he could fit me in despite the fact that my actual appointment was for the following day!!!!

This was my first trip to Millers recommended by a friend. I saw Stuart who was brilliant. From start to finish everything was explained and I was consulted at every stage. I came out with a fantastic style which was exactly what I wanted.

My colourist was brilliant. Katie was happy Spending time with me to really identify what I was looking for. Giving me honest opinions. Lauren who carried out my blow dry was so friendly and brilliant, again really looking to find out what finishing style I wanted. Will definitely return. Thank you girls!

Very happy with my hair cut today which was cut by Colin. He really took his time with the sections and detail of the hair cut. Great over all look!

A few things to work on, I booked last minute appointment 2 hours before and was told it was half price when I went to pay it wasn't and felt embarrassed to say anything.also I have curly hair and would of liked the conditioner to be combed down the hair before being rinsed off. Could just be my thoughts. A lot of product was sprayed on my hair after the blow dry I wasn't asked before it was done and as I'm pregnant and surrounded by hair spray it made it difficult to breath for a few seconds and I wasn't 100 % comfortable. Doesn't put me off going again maybe I should be more vocal but he worked so hard and done a fantastic job.

Have been going to millers for years and I have to say every time is a great experience my hair always feels like it's been sprinkled with magic it feels very light x I always go to Kevin whose blowdrys last a week and the cut always on trend xx from Kevin down to all the staff is always a great experience. Would recommend Laura for color who definitely knows what she is talking about I feel very lucky to have them as my stylist.

Imy visits to the salon in normally every 6/8weeks.
I am always greeted by the staff from the owner to whoever is on reception. Always offered a seat and a coffee whilst waiting for my stylist who always listens to what I want done and carries out the task chatting about this and that. Makes you feel very relaxed and always gives advice when asked for to maintain my style.

Excellent colour and cut as always! Colourist and stylists listen to what you want, issues you have with your hair and advise on what's best.

Laura has done an absolutely amazing job, I really love my hair. The colour is beautiful, exactly what I wanted! I loved that before my appointment I was asked to have a consultation to discuss what I wanted, after a few bad experiences at the hairdressers it gave me confidence and made me feel that I was being listened to. Thank you Very much Laura! ☺️. On top of that 2 of the other girls took the time to style my hair in the gorgeous beachy waves I have been unsuccessfully trying to achieve for ages, despite the fact that it was getting quite late in the day and they probably should have been getting ready to go home. I now have the knowledge of how to get this look with my very fine, poker straight hair and I love it. Thank you to all of you!

I had my appointment with Kevin this morning who has been my regular hairdresser for years, and came away as always feeling good and loving my hair!! My hair is a massive challenge and Kevin understands and gets it! He always recommends what I can do to care for it and style it.

All the staff are friendly and welcoming and I feel like I have been pampered when I come out! Thank you x

Like my haircut and enjoyed the miller's experience.

I came in on Saturday morning for a much needed cut and blow dry.
My appointment was with Kevin, my Son Adam uses him all the time and won't allow any body else to cut his hair.
My Daughter Natalie has also used Kevin and recommended i give him a try.
My haircut is the best haircut i have ever had, i am very fussy and havn't found any one who can cut my hair properly until now.
I used to have to wash my hair everyday to be able to put some sort of style into it, but now thanks to Kevin i can wash it every other day and do not need to worry about straightening all the time.
I just have to run the hair brush through and leave it.
Brilliant, i will be back and will always use Kevin from now on.
Although a little expensive i always say you get what you pay for, and this time i was more than happy.
