Always happy to try any of the super team of stylists and yet another super colour and dry..I struggle to commit to times a long way in advance so trusting that who ever can fit me in will be good is super reassuring

Needed a serious refresh, and Ella was amazing in doing this! She helped me pick the best colour for my gloss, and she was very attentive and took her time with my cut and fixing my very outgrown bangs. Super friendly & chatty, will definitely book with Ella again, thank you!

Had my regular colour refresh with Laura and a trim with Kev. As always I am thrilled with the results. Laura and Kev have been doing my hair for over 10 years and I honestly wouldn’t trust anyone else. Professional yet friendly in a lovely welcoming salon.

Visited the salon recently, and had a very positive experience, Nancy gave me a great haircut and I left feeling happy and more confident and have booked in another appointment to see her

First visit to the salon. Saw Grace who listened to my concerns and suggested some options for a cut and colour. Really pleased with my haircut. Very relaxed and friendly salon. Will definitely return.

Lucy is Vidal Sassoon trained and she demonstrates that in a perfect hair cut every time. I highly recommend her

Lucy is friendly, courteous and a really good hairdresser. She cuts and styles my hair beautifully and it is easy to do at home until my next appointment is due.

Both Laura and Kevin (and Molly who was helping to train a new apprentice) were as they always are: responsive, positive and efficient. My 2 hour experience at M Salon was another good one.
I was made comfortable and offered a drink as I sat down. I did not have to wait for Laura. The cup of tea which followed my cold water came promptly as Laura finished applying my colour.
Laura asked pertinent questions about my hair colour and gave me guidance on choosing a new shampoo and conditioner which I had requested. She also answered my queries about a different product for healthy hair and we shared thoughts on the excessive current heat.
Kevin asked precise questions about my happiness with my hair since my previous appointment and amused me greatly with his responses during an exchange about recent sporting events.
Neither he nor Laura stopped performing their different procedures with my hair during these exchanges.
Molly, the trainee who washed my hair while the new apprentice watched closely, showed how well she herself had been trained to achieve a polite, comfortable and effective experience for the client.

The salon was clean, air conditioned, and carefully maintained. Staff on the phone and at reception were all well trained, competent and politely friendly..
I didn’t use the washroom but have often done so during previous appointments and have always found it very clean and well equipped.

After sharing photos of what i wanted, we discussed my options and I ended up with a really lovely haircut. Thanks Lucy!

Lucy carefully studied the photos I had brought in of the hairstyle I was hoping for. We dis cused how I cared for my hair and what I was hoping for and when she had finished cutting and styling it, it was exactly what I had been hoping for. Thank you Lucy!

Sharp summer holiday cut

Ella is a fantastic hairdresser, she cut my daughter's so well. She is very patient and delivered exactly what we asked her! A huge thank you, we couldn't recommend you enough

I had my hair cut by Ashlee. She did an excellent job as aways. She is so friendly and we had a lovely chat while she cut my hair.
I am extremely pleased with my hair and the great customer rapport I got from Ashlee.

I’m extremely disappointed with my daughter’s haircut and the overall experience.

Before the appointment, I showed the hairdresser a photo of exactly what I wanted. My daughter’s hair was long enough to achieve that style, so I was confident it could be done.

As the haircut progressed, I could see it wasn’t going in the direction I had asked for. Before she finished, I mentioned three separate times that it didn’t look like the photo I had shown her, but my concerns were dismissed. I was told that if she cut it the way I wanted, my daughter wouldn’t be able to tie her hair up. However, that wasn’t what I had asked for, and the final result looks nothing like the reference photo.

To make matters worse, I was charged £59 for a child’s haircut, which is significantly more than I have ever paid before.
Only after the appointment was I told that the stylist is now a level 3 and doesn’t cut children’s hair. If that was the case, why wasn’t I told before the haircut started? I should have been informed in advance and given the option of booking with someone who regularly cuts children’s hair or the price adjustment.

I understand that no haircut will look exactly like a photo, but I do expect to be listened to when I raise concerns during the appointment. Unfortunately, I felt ignored, left with a haircut that was not what I had asked for, and charged a premium price for an experience that did not meet my expectations.

Thank you so much, I am so pleased with my cut. I didn’t know what I wanted, I left it all up to you. Just chatting to you I knew I could trust you. Thank you for recommending hair products too.

I saw Grace today to fix a colour mishap (from another hairdresser) and she did a fantastic job! I am so happy with the result, I felt completely at ease with her and trusted her professional opinion. It was also lovely to chat to her during my appointment and I will definitely be booking in with her again! Thank you Grace!

I had my hair coloured by Emilee with a few highlights round the front of my face. I am really happy with how it looks. Emilee is really good and I would throughly recommend.

Ashlee was lovely, me and my daughter had a double appointment this morning and she was calm and patience with my little girl. I love the cut of my own hair now, feels so much lighter and has more volume

Nancy was so wonderful, she put me completely at ease and was so considerate to what my needs were with my colour and how low maintenance i needed it to be. She also helped me with serum/ hair oil advice, she is truly a credit to the salon. I couldn’t fault my service at all, I’ve already booked to see her again in September!

After many years of not liking my colour I decided to take a leap of faith and try a new salon and I was not disappointed. At my initial consultation Emilee went through all my concerns and assured me that everything would be fine and it was. From the very start I felt very comfortable with Emilee’s knowledge of colouring right to Lucy cutting and blow drying my hair. For the first time in a long time I left the salon loving my hair. I would 100% recommend M Salon and will definitely be visiting them again soon.

Could not be happier with the time and effort taken by Molly today. Working along with Emily for guidance it clearly paid off for me. Looking forward already to my next apppintment.
