Just popped in on the off chance to see if they could fit me in for a cut and blow dry
Lauren was on reception she was very pleasant
She guided me through the different price ranges
I decided to let Lauren cut my hair as she seemed very pleasant and after chatting with her she told me that she had not long qualified,this was not a problem as she seemed to take a little more time to cut my hair making sure I was happy with everything
Lauren also used new products on my hair explaining what they did I did buy one of the products
Overall a very nice experience and I will definitely book my next appointment soon

Been having my hair coloured by Laura for the past 5 years and cut/blow dry by Luke, would not consider going anywhere else. Both excellent and have always been extremely pleased with the results. By far the best hairdressers in Bishops Stortford.

Always made to feel welcome starting with a cup of coffee. Stuart cuts my hair just how I like it and advises me on suitable products to use at home I wouldn't go anywhere else

Another fantastic colour by Laura. A complete change a lovely brown with some caramel streakes.

Been going to millers for couple of years and have always had a great experience. Staff are very kind and attentive and am always so pleased with my haircut each time. Always very relaxing and a treat to go.

I've recently moved by still come back to get my hair cut by Kevin. I don't trust many people cutting my curly hair but I always know Kevin will do a fabulous job. Staff are all lovely and it's worth noting the beauty salon upstairs is worth a visit too.

First time in salon as new to the area. Google searched salons and chose this one.
My stylist (Colin I think) was moody and generally had a stinking attitude.
He snubbed the way in which I had my hair cut at the back, tried to convince me to have it cut straight and when I politely said I'd like to keep it the way it is he rolled his eyes and almost huffed.
He didn't listen to me re the way I had my fringe cut or styled and I'm really disappointed with the result... It looks awful! I specifically said I wanted a blunt cut and even told him i disliked the feathered look when they use the scissors to cut into the ends and that's exactly what he did with my fringe!
The blow dry wasn't great either and he used so much product (in particular finishing spray) that it felt awful and I was forced to wash it the next day. The blow dry is usually my favourite part and can last me up to 3/4 days before needing to wash it again but unfortunately I left the salon feeling like it was sticky a

Just got back from millers where I had another relaxing experience. All the staff are very welcoming and chatty X Victoria did a wonderful job washing and treating the hair. The color is fantastic and Kevin has done his magic feel like a new woman. Would recommend d Millers to everyone they are the best around....

Yet another great cut from Kevin! Lots of people have commented how nice my hair looks since it was styled on Saturday.

I was at the salon for my usual cut and blow dry with Kevin. However on this occasion I asked Kevin to straighten my hair with amazing results. Really pleased with my different look and I've received lots of compliments.

I have very curly hair, and ask for my hair to be straightend just by blow drying and straighteners. The results were amazing and lasted for a few days.

Columb was brilliant from consultation to blow dry! So friendly and great vision, took all of my pictures into account and we discussed how to adapt the style to suit my fine hair, he was great at demonstrating tips on how to style, even using another stylists hair as an example! Fantastic cut and blow dry, exactly what I wanted.

As always, this was a fantastic experience. The quality of the cut is superb, reflected in my being stopped on my way back to the car and asked where I had my hair done. The service is unfailingly highly professional and unreservedly recommended.

I very much enjoyed my first visit to M Hair. Salon is clean and has a nice interior design and layout. Staff is welcoming and the atmosphere is pleasant.

And now, the most important part of this review... - STUART! :)
My new hairdo (which I absolutely love!) is a result of Stuart's professionalism in implementing client's ideas and individual needs with addition of his own creative cutter's touch. It' s been a week since I had a hair cut and so far I have no problem whatsoever maintaining the new style, which fact only confirms the high quality of the cut.
Stuart is a pleasant, very easy to talk to fellow, who truly has a relaxing demeanor and is focused on client's well-being from beginning to end.

There is only one thing which I have to point out- the hair brushes. It would be so much better if they were cleaned after each client. It might be a minor flaw, but some may find brushes covered in other people's hair slighthly off-putting (I did).

My first experience at Millers and a professional and enjoyable experience!! My hairdressor was Luke, a friendly gentleman who listened to me and advised me accordingly. I felt as though he really took his time to make sure the cut was perfect! I did tell him that he had a great sense of touch; with the shampooing, head massage and blowdry, the pressure was just right and never pulled the hair too hard! Thank you for a great haircut!

As I am approaching a big milestone birthday, I thought I would treat myself to a smart new cut and colour. I cannot praise the staff at M Hair enough. They were welcoming, friendly and made me feel very relaxed. The staff were very knowledgeable and spent time with me discussing exactly what I wanted, and how my desired style and colour would work with my skin tone, hair type, face shape and ability/desire to spend time styling my hair.

Super late review, but I had my hair cut here back in early January and I am really happy with the cut and the service provided.
Everyone was really friendly and helpful and Stuart did a great job with my hair.
Will definitely be popping back in for a colour soon!
Would definitely recommend this place as of the two places I have been to in Stortford for my hair, this was by far the better of the two!

Pleased with hair trim/ blowdry

Luke cut my hair and styled it beautiful as always. Great attention to details and seem to be fully aware of the fact that when I leave the salon I am not only the business card commanding Luke but a person doing PR for the salon as a whole! Super hair cut & styling- thank you!

Room for improvement:
When checking in the girl at the counter did offer me a drink. But when asking about the magazines, as was waiting, I was told which cupboard they were in and could go and find them myself. When leaving I got my coat back and my cape when reminded. No offer to help putting them on. Poor customer service all round.

Great salon. Always receive a great cut and finish. I would highly recommend.

All the staff are friendly and make you feel that they know you and you are part of the shop. There is always a smile and the trainees are keen to share their experiences, which are always positive and it's nice to see them grow. Katie colours my hair and I feel great every time.

Just had a lovely new hair cut by Luke. A lot of care and attention taken doing my hair and did a cut that really helped build body. Fabulous!
