The staff at avant Garde were super helpful from chatting over my daughters dream hair cut when booking to ensuring we were matched with the right stylist. Carol took great care and attention listening to her likes and dislikes and working with her to restyle her hair. Carol was friendly and approachable and clearly very talented. Will definitely return for future cuts!

Carol did a wonderful job on my hair. She took time cutting it and my hair was transformed into a lovely sleek bob before my eyes. Thank you Carol as this was my first appointment with her and she did an excellent cut and blow dry.

Great. Usual friendly and professional service at a very reasonable price. Trainees offer good value for money and everone has to learn and that's what I sign up for. Please get the door fixed as soon as possible as it makes the salon even colder.

I booked an appointment online and turned up for the appointment but discovered due to sickness it had been cancelled, I had received a text message but I don't tend to have my phone on so wasn't aware of it, however the staff in the Salon found someone who was in between her appointments to fit me in and she did an excellent job.

I booked for a blowdry, I had a blast dry and curling tongs by a girl who absolutely did not want to be there and did not care what happened. Would not recommend!

Very impressed with this hair salon. Been coming for a little while. Each time I have had an appointment, I’m always made to feel very welcome. Coffee is always offered and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

The person cutting my hair was lovely, however I was very, very disappointed with my haircut. It wasn’t at all what I asked for, and has left me extremely upset and insecure as it is too short to do anything at all with, i honestly haven’t ever felt worse.

Lovely clean place, staff r very friendly and welcoming, Lucy and Beth/becky (SORRY I CANT REMEMBER) were amazing provided exactly what I wanted the results are beautiful totally recommend

Had some issues with hair loss recently and therefore stayed away from the hairdresser. While in town last week, I dropped in on the off chance and Abbey was not only able to make the time to cut my hair, but she did such a great job, it restored my confidence and made me feel good - Thanks Abbey 👍🏻

Have been having my hair cut at Avant Garde for 4 or 5 years and have always been pleased with the cut. They take time to talk about what you want and will offer helpful suggestions and advice. Service is always good.

I booked an appointment at the Hereford salon on a whim.
The salon staff are all friendly and made me feel very welcome. My stylist, Carol, listened to my ideas and advised me about the best style for my lifestyle and facial structure. And the result is amazing, I left the salon feeling confident and very happy.

I visited Avant Garde hairdressers in Hereford today only to find that my appointment was for the following week. To Dave me coming back they went out of their way to fit me in for a colour on my roots, wash, blow dry and straighten. Both of tha ladies who attender to me were friendly and efficient and I left happy with my lovely hair.

The staff are super friendly and offered great advice. The salon is beautifully clean and tidy.

Emma was delightful , very helpful , listened to what I would like as I had an idea of how I wanted my long hair to be re styled and gave her professional advice on how to achieve it. The end result was a cut that is 100 % the image that I had in my mind and the finish was precisely the way I like my hair to look and feel , natural and healthy so thank you so much. Lara was absolutely amazing she made me feel at ease, loved every bit of it even though I came twice, absolutely love my hair best 50th present even with a free massage in chair definitely recommend this place. My hair looks a lot better and absolutely lush, Cannot Thank Lara enough will be going back

My haircut was exactly what I wanted.The stylist was very friendly and professional.If I lived locally I would visit more often but the next time I visit Hereford I will definitely come back for a haircut.
