As always, my daughter and i had a fantastic hair cut from a true professional, Frederica. We had a professional consultation at the start of our appt. on what we were hoping to have done. we are both really happy with the results. Thoroughly recommend Frederica, fantastic.

From the moment you step into HOB Salon you are made to feel welcome. It is a wonderful experience as is having your hair washed thoroughly and rinsed including a scalp massage. I was even offered a cup of latte coffee. Very good. Jeremy cut and styled my hair he is excellent and a very good communicator too. He is very good indeed. Always listens to you on how the haircut is progressing. I was very pleased with the result. I highly recommend HOB Salon, you get more than a haircut.....

A side note.on Margaret, the front of house, she is exceptional. She rearranged my appointment at short notice and is always super pleasant and nothing is to much trouble.

Jade is a phenomenal stylist, her knowledge and expertise shines through. I felt so looked after and cared for and listened too and my hair has never looked so good! I’ve had so many compliments, she knew exactly what I needed. The salon is lovely and everyone was so friendly and welcoming. It was so good I’ve booked my appointments till the end of the year. Thank you for making me feel wonderful again x

Hair cut , Jermemy was very obliging , I want in not in a good place and needed a pick up , I left feeling better because Jeremy helped me. Be at ease as he always does

I don’t get my hair cut very often but when I do I am always delighted with my experience at HOB. It can sometimes be daunting to change your hair but I always feel confident that I am in good hands at this salon. From the thorough and very relaxing hairwash to the friendly smiles and offers of drinks or magazines, the HOB experience is delightful. My stylist Sophie is incredibly talented and always listens to exactly what I ask for, offering helpful suggestions to enhance the style. She is very focussed and as a quiet customer I appreciate her level of attention and precision. I am always surprised and delighted by how much better my hair looks than I imagined it could! It’s worth every penny and I wouldn’t consider going anywhere else.

A lady who doesn’t know what she wants but knows what she doesn’t want. Jeremy did an excellent job on my hair, it’s exactly want I wanted and more. Walked out of the shop on air. Hair looks so natural and for someone who only brushes her hair twice a week I can tussle it up a bit and ready to go.

I watched truly amazing service from all staff today. I was carefully listen to about my wishes, constantly asked if what was happening correct and expert knowledge sheared. But the care that was given to the other customers was a joy to watched. One young lady was full of emotions, colourist and stylist listened, took time to think with their wealth of knowledge, responded sensitively to end with a relieved customer. Another lady had her young son who did not appear well. She had bought thing for him. But the staff allow the Mum to settle her child, then began the treatment asked for. Soon the child felt comfortable in the salon that he sat in the chair beside smile at staff who gentle said hello.
What I saw was care for customers emotional well-being, deep listening skills, and use of expert knowledge and skills.

As a new client, I had my first haircut with Nick on Saturday 14th August 2021 and I am very pleased with the result. He made good what was a very bad previous cut giving excellent attention to detail. Makes such a difference to my day having a good haircut that I can work with. Thank you!

The best salon i’ve ever tried so far!! Federica is AMAZING! She’s very friendly, helpful and makes you feel very comfortable. You can immediately tell she’s a pro by the way she approaches you. I’ve been treated like part of the family, i felt like i’ve been knowing them forever. And to the girl that washed my hair.. BLESS HER!! Her hands are a blessing!! It was a truly enjoyable experience, definitely coming back! Thank you so much girls???

Nick’s haircuts and blow dries are second to none! I first saw him in 2010 as I had just moved to the area and have been going back ever since even though I have moved out of the area! He’s accommodating and has a real nack of making me look great and feel better!

I left feeling angry, gutted, shocked and will never have my hair cut at Hob again - my hair has been left shapeless, too short, and nothing like I had asked for from a photo I showed ***** of my hair as it had previously been cut

Unfortunately I have not had a great first (and last) experience with this salon.

I had a very friendly consultation with one stylist, which later changed due to me having to rearrange the appointment.

I wanted (almost) black and blonde highlights, but ended up with a lot of jet black with grey and purple highlights. It literally added 10 years to my 38 years. I was devastated and my husband was horrified.

After getting home and looking at it properly I could see the colour was sloppy, uneven and in general just awful. And it wasn't until later that my husband pointed out that the back of my neck was still covered in black dye, which hadn't been washed off. I have photos but unfortunately not able to upload them onto this review.

Definitely not worth the almost £200 I was charged for the (dis)pleasure.

I called up immediately letting them know I needed it to be corrected and was allocated an appointment for in two days.

When I arrived today and spoke with the same stylist she initially tried to tell me it was the black mixing in making it look grey/purple. I told her no, it WAS grey/purple. After she agreed that it looked purple and applied a correction toner. Eventually, after two different applications, it was improved. But by far from perfect and still an array of different shades. At this point I said it was fine and left.

To be honest I am extremely disappointed with the whole experience. I expected a much higher standard.

Great haircut from a very talented hairdresser who always pays close attention to detail. My wife, son and daughter all get thier hair cut at Hob Salons Ruislip as well, and the staff are always so friendly, helpful and attentive. A great salon and highly recommended.

Kayleigh then promptly came over & introduced herself, felt at ease straight away. Discussed options, went with Kayleigh advice & I am delighted with the result.
Kayleigh is very chatty & seems very happy & confident in her workplace, obviously knows her stuff!

I visited the Ruislip branch for the first time upon recommendation from a friend. The salon is bright and airy and very clean. Jeremy restyled my long hair with great precision and I am really pleased with the final result.
