TONI&GUY Putney

For not the first time at Toni and Guy Putney, I experienced a service that was far, far too slow - I was forgotten when the timer ended and left for ages at other points. I also had no idea who was looking after me as various different people came and went with no introduction as to who they were and what they were doing. Meant the whole appointment took much longer than it was supposed to and I found the whole experience stressful as opposed to relaxing.

It’s a shame as I think the end result is good and the experience could be a lot better.

Gina gave me the best salon experience. My haircut was exemplary! As soon as she gave me the mirror, I told her it’s the best haircut and I’ve ever had at Toni N Guy. I am so delighted that I look forward to my next visit. Gina promised she’ll be there. :)

Superb service and how can you complain for a fiver? I never go to any other Toni and Guy salon to pay full price because with rentals going up and the cost of living I just can’t justify paying £50+ in a full price salon. Still getting the Toni and Guy experience and just as good quality. Highly recommended and all the trainees are supervised so you’re in safe hands.

Great hair cut and super nice stylist

Lisa did a fantastic job with my hair colour and I am delighted with the result. There is a reason that I have been coming to the salon for 15 years!

The stylist was super nice but she didn’t cut my hair as I wanted. I was looking for a cut with a few layers, to give some movement to my hair and she only did one layer and very short compared to the other layer, so it looks a bit weird now.

I have been going to Christophe for a while now after constantly changing hairdressers. I like the whole experience and Christophe is always a delight.

I am a regular and a customer of 10 years at this branch, lovely staff and amazing attentive manager. Received last min Balayage with Cara and I am very happy with it. I have a very dark and thick Mediterranean hair so I was very impressed that Cara could turn it to a lovely gorgeous balayage with beige highlights. Will be back for sure .. my husband loved it too. I paid £70 for a £25 hair cut. I was barely asked what I wanted, and when I offered the information anyway it was half-dismissed. I showed pictures which were also mostly dismissed. My stylist took off twice as much length as I agreed to, and gave me such a boring haircut, that even I could tell did not take much technical skill. When I got home and asked my boyfriend to take a photo of it I realised it’s uneven and wonky too.

I've previously had awful experiences with balayage, so was slightly nervous before my appointment. However, Lisa absolutely smashed it and i've never been so happy with my hair. She filled me with complete confidence that she knew exactly what she was doing. She listened to my concerns and then delivered exactly what I had asked for! Couldn't recommend her more - along with all the other lovely staff there too!

The therapist’s name is not here. Her name was ****, she was very sweet and wanted to start a discussion and everything, but my result was very disappointing. As a person who’s really taking care of my hair, and I showed what cut I wanted, my first hand experience with Toni&Guy has not been the best.

My first time visiting Toni&Guy Putney was such a lovely experience. Everyone was so warm and welcoming, especially Lottie who cut and blow dried my hair. She was so friendly and made me feel so comfortable. I’m so happy with my haircut, Lottie completely understood my vision! Genuinely the best haircut I’ve had and I can’t wait to come back!

Very competent, efficient and friendly.

Emma was friendly and informative. She took great care cutting and styling my hair and explaining what she was doing.

First time with this stylist. She spent plenty of time ensuring she understood exactly what cut I wanted. Result was a superb cut. I am very pleased.

Trussed up with mask as I walked through door and told we have to protect vulnerable people.. Overkill as the salon empty bar one other customer... Plastic compartments isolating.. Pandemic is over, but manager said all limitations will continue for another 4 weeks at least.. Got cold with long wet hair, no more coffee or glass of water, even.. Had to cancel trim as cold and uncomfortable and sodden mask with dye around my ears. Lisa did superb job and fabulous colour result, but extremely draconian boss so won't go back until they relax.
