HARE & BONE - London

I was searching for a competent hairstylist. Because the good reviews I decided for hare and bone. The atmosphere was very pleasant and everyone was friendly. I received a good detailed advice. He responded to my wishes. Unfortunately I was at the end of the result not completely satisfied. I found difference to befor was low. He did a good job but I expected much more for this price level.

Sam is a fantastic hairdresser and human being.

Just been back to Sam. Hair now cut and coloured. All my earlier comments still stand. I feel great. Its a treat. Its a pleasure to see them all.

I was confident to sit back and let him create his own style and I feel great.

As soon as I arrived in London I searched for the best places to restore my hair and darken it, they gave me suggestions and I was more than happy with the result, the staff and the place.

Extremely unfriendly and not customer oriented. I paid full price for a haircut in order to fix a gap length problem, and told the stylist ***** that I didn’t mind getting a short cut in order to remove the gap. This did not happen the way I wanted, they said I could go back if I am not happy with the cut which I was not. So I called them the next day to rectify this. They agreed on the phone that I could come in and do something to fix it. They actually assured me previously that I could come in as many times as I need until I’m happy (which is a lie).

However, after battling with freezing snowy weather to get there, I noticed that the atmosphere was incredibly unfriendly. Nobody welcomed me, and suddenly I was told that I can’t have my hair redone without a charge. ***** then proceeded to call me a liar about what I wanted the previous visit. He was insulting and aggressive, even though I was calmly disagreeing and trying to explain my perspective. At one point, other staff members ganged up on me to defend him, pretending to have overheard every word spoken last time. I was very uncomfortable. Apparently after paying £100 for something that I did not ask for, you are punished and called a liar by disagreeing. It left a bad taste in my mouth and has been a waste of time.

I was nervous about getting my long hair chopped off and Jose was really helpful. I felt listened to re what I wanted and the process was fun and I was really happy with the end result. Thanks!

Love this place. My 3rd visit with Jade and have had another fantastic experience. My hair was over coloured and previous hairdressers just kept giving me more of the same. Jade really listened to me, made some great suggestions and understands what I want. Really, really pleased again with my colour and a super friendly place. Highly recommend it

Had a cut with Ernie and it is hands down the best haircut I think I’ve ever had! Exactly what I wanted and styled just how I like. So happy! Will definitely come back x

v professional, i came away thinking that this was a well managed salon, clearly on the ball, balanced haircut (even!) no bits left longer etc etc good shape..... most of all, v welcoming & not uppity in spite of their reputation and craftsmanship.

I love this place. Went in with a botched home hair dye which came out brown at the roots and black at the tips. Jose saved my hair! What I loved about this place is that he took time, care and really listened. I was there for four hours while he fixed my hair and cut it, and it looks amazing. Didn’t feel like just another customer through the door, he genuinely took time and wanted my hair to look great. Also it’s the friendliest salon I’ve ever been to, everyone was amazing. Highly recommended. Jose, you have a new regular! Miracle worker. THANK YOU!!

A new overhaul required, never easier to find the right stylist, I googled and checked out top 10 lists and Hare and Bone kept appearing and I can see why. Nice atmosphere, friendly and welcoming. Great consultation with Sam, very thorough. I went from long to just above shoulder length and new shape. I’m going back for colour after an informed chat with Jade. Very pleased.

One of the best cuts I've ever had - Jose understood exactly what I was after despite my probably incoherent ideas. I've often left hairdressers feeling happy with the cut but uncomfortable with the styling - this couldn't be further from my experience at Hare and Bone. Reception staff outstanding too. The salon is on the pricey side for sure, but Im happy to invest in a good cut and I will 100% be back.

Esther was really great. She asked me what I wanted and gave me advice on what would suit my face shape. All the staff were lovely, it was first time here and I will definitely come back

Sam has cut my hair on and off for the past 5 years. He's a great guy and the best at what he does. The salon is cool, trendy and different, and there is no doubting that the brand will continue to be a success.

I really enjoyed it. Quick and efficient. Massage chairs are a nice touch. Loved the products used. I thought it was going to be a little cheaper (£35ish) but if this blow dry lasts me two nights then it is absolutely worth £45. Jose was great, thanks for making me feel awesome leaving. Will return if back in the city. Thank you.

Everyone was very friendly when I first arrived and taken care of fairly promptly. Ernie was fantastica, one of the best hairdressers I've been too. She listened to what I wanted and delivered! She also gave really good hair care advice. I also got a discount as a referee- bonus!

Amy took so much time to listen to what I wanted even though I had no idea in technical terms what I was describing! I decided to pay more than I usually would and it was beyond worth it. I've never had a more natural blonde. Amy knew exactly what tone I needed and how to apply colour to grow out well, when she finished it looked like my hair just grew that way! I've never fully come out of a hairdressers 100% happy until today. Amy is defiantly 5*s.

Excellent salon with top hair stylists and colourists and the forefront of their game. I fully trust and reccomend this salon as I always get the results I am after.

I walked into Hare & Bone with my hair a complete disaster zone after being foolish enough to attempt a home bleach job. My hair was frazzled and snapped in all sort of places and all sorts of lengths. Nathan didn’t make me feel any worse about committing crises against hair dressing he just made me feel calm and reassured and took time playing with my hair to see what would suit me and the what could be done.
I’ve had to go very short, but Nathan has given me such an incredible cut it makes me glad I had the hair disaster that forced the crop and made me seek out Hare & Bone.
I can’t wait to go back in a few weeks time to get my colour sorted!
