I started visiting Hare and Bone after Jamie moved to work there, as his work leaves me so happy every time - his skill is exemplary. He listens closely and actually delivers, unlike many! He is also extremely approachable and friendly and makes each visit a pleasant catch up time.

What struck me when visiting Hare and Bone the first time, was that all other staff also seemed just as warm and welcoming - always ready to help and very accommodating of requests. They are all professional and treat clients with respect, as well as work well together as a team. This results in a very positive ambience.

Being based Fitzrovia, it is on the more expensive side, even with my student discount - but I have been more than happy to pay for the brilliant experience.

Overall, a super level of skill, professionalism and friendliness!

Every time I visit hare and bone, my visit is greeted with warmth and politeness, all the staff are very helpful, the atmosphere is relaxing and inviting and comfortable. My stylist is excellent and my hair always looks amazing after my visit. Wouldn’t go anywhere else.

I can without hesitation give Hare and Bone a 100% review. On the day of my wedding, I was let down last minute by my own hairdresser and so I called Hare and Bone and they were able to fit me in last minute. They were so attentive and friendly and which helped to calm my nerves. Furthermore the end result (which was an up-do) was miles better than the hairstyle I was due to get from the hairdresser that didn’t turn up. They worked in double quick time and allowed my brother, Mum and I to get dressed at the salon, going over and above what was required from them. To top it all the price was completely reasonable AND I arrived at the Register Office on time. An amazing salon, highly recommend.

I had a colour and cut with Nathan and my hair was washed by Ella today and I am really pleased with the service and the result! Hare and Bone is very professional but still has a happy and friendly atmosphere.

I've got long hair and getting a haircut always makes me nervous. Amy put me at ease, we had a long chat about what look would work and off she went. She was thoughtful and friendly and I trusted her. She didn't try to oversell and my hair looks great.

Staff are lovely and friendly and the quiet position is s plus.
Only down side is that it is a bit pricey compared to other central London hairdressers!

I researched a salon based on reviews where I can get personalised advice and care for 1. Condition, 2. Cut, 3. Colour and 4. Home care all in one. This salon sounded promising and I tried it out. My hair is damaged but already after 1 visit I had an improvement. The cut is so great and respecting the way my hair moves and it does not need styling anymore. I let it dry naturally and it looks great. The blow dry I was given lasted 4 days and still looked great. Watch this salon ... it won't be a hidden treasure for long!

Delightful relaxing time and a delicious cappuccino too.

It was a Monday and I was desperate to find someone to cut (or better say fix) my side fringe. After a quick Google search I found out, for my disappointment, that many hairdressers near where I work were closed on Mondays. But H&B showed as open! I walked in and was greeted and asked to sit down and wait a bit as the receptionists were on the phone. A few minutes later I was able to describe what I needed and surprisingly (or not) a stylist was free to see me straight away! I was so happy as my fringe was looking hideous! Jade was the hairdresser who saw me and she was amazing! Fast, confident, friendly and she discussed with me what she thought was the best thing to do, if I was ok with it and all. I was really happy with the treatment and the cut I got, and I am definitely going back in a month or so to get my hair cut again, as I was indeed in need of a new hair salon!

The whole experience at H&B is second to none. The staff are so friendly and helpful, and the talent there is exceptional. I wouldn’t trust any other salon with my barnet.

I had baylage (for the first time) with Jamie (also first visit to this colourist). Jamie clearly has a passion and a talent for colour. He was so calm, explained what he was doing and was just absorbed in his art. I have no doubt that Jamie will be my go to colourist. And I have been to many top colourist - Paul Edmonds, Jo Handford to name a few. And this is the best yet.

I was really impressed with Amelia who understood what was wrong with my hair straight away and knew how to fix it. Will be coming back.

I cannot praise Amy enough!! I gave her a bit of a tall order - I came in with uneven, patchy, frail long hair. I came out with an incredible short cut, I look like a model. It’s amazing. I was a bit on the nervous side even though it needed the chop, but Amy took such care with it and really took the time to make sure it was PERFECT. Thank you xx

Amelia is such a great hairdresser, I think my hair is quite awkward (thick & frizzy) and the colour, condition and how I feel about it has improved so much since she’s become my hair dresser. Hair & bone is a lush salon in an amazing location, I felt very welcome and relaxed.

Had a wonderful experience the other day at the salon. Everyone was super nice and welcoming. I am so happy with my haircut by Amelia. She listened to my wishes and made me feel great with my new haircut. Will be back.

Had a wonderful hair-wash whilst lying back on the massage chair. I’m trying to grow out a short style. Was worried that I’d come out with a short haircut but, no, worries left with a stylish bob. Jade was professional, got my personality and listened. Have booked my next appointment.

Really friendly welcoming receptionists and a hairdresser Jade who not only was very attentive and truly listened to me but understood what was needed for my hair. Her cut was sublime and a blow dry that sent me swishing my hair when I left the salon.

Was my first time to Hare and Bone and first cut with Jose. I have thick long hair and been getting it cut all over the world. Can still count on one hand the number of good cuts I've had and this was just perfect. I've slept on it three nights and it still looks good. So, thank you Jose I'll be back!

The friendliest staff, the hairdresser that cut my hair was really lovely and my hair feels healthier than it's been in a very long time. However I feel like I have had my hair cut better (in regards to style) in the past for cheaper.

This was more of a journey than a haircut. It was a journey in which Jamie determined my optimal destination, mapped it out, reached it precisely and all the time guided me in how to get there myself. Masterfully done, thank you.
