TONI&GUY Canary Wharf

Been coming to this salon for years and I'm always over the moon with cut and colour services. Claire bent over backwards to get me an appointment to tame my wayward covid locks when my regular colour technician was unfortunately unwell. Felt really comfortable in the salon in these covid aware times too. Definitely recommend to anyone

Lovely experience as usual. Katie is a great stylist, pays attention to details and helps me figure out how my hair would look the best. I’m very happy with the results :)
Also, shout out to the whole crew for adjusting to new social distancing standards and keeping us all safe. I’m very impressed with the level of care they take.

Alessandro is AMAZZZINGGGG!!! He took my quarantine attempt at bangs and made them look AMAZINGGG!!! I couldn’t be more happier. He made me feel welcome and listened and exceeded all expectations on what I thought my hair would look like! It’s safe to say he’s the BEST!!! Thank youuu!!!!

Alessandro cut my daughters hair when she wanted to go from long to very short. He was fantastic. He took the time to listen to what she wanted, cut the hair sympathetic to her hair type and low-daily maintenance, and the cut was amazing. I highly recommend Alessandro especially for short haircuts

The hairdresser had a great personality, very joyful. However, when i came back home i noticed that one of my sides was Way longer... had my girlfriend to shorten it. Anyway if you pay £80, you’d expect a bit more attention and quality put in.

Beautiful cut! Super grateful that I managed to get a slot with Charlie whom I’ve seen for quite some time now, and who knows my hair and preferences really well! I’m a VERY happy with my post-lockdown fresh cut! I also felt very safe with the extent of COVID-19 measures in place, including PPE.

Loving my new colour- it’s what I was always aiming for. And the young lady washing my hair had amazing hands- like having a head massage!- meant a lot to get rid of the stress before my wedding in Saturday!

It was my first visit after a few years since my regular stylist relocated and will definitely switch back to T&G (Katie). I was looking for a complete transformation and I got much more than I expected. Katie was very warm and friendly, excellent service and brilliant scissor skills. She was also very passionate about what she does which makes her a great hairdresser. Thank you for the great haircut and definitely will return soon.

Lots of health and safety measures in place but it didn’t change the warm service I received for my colour and cut. I’m so pleased with the excellent colour and haircut. I feel like a new woman!!

I’ve been going to Toni&Guy Canary Wharf for years and have always found it to be very consistent and of a high standard. I loved that they give you a head massage and coffee. Although now with Covid this probably won’t happen anymore.

Alessandro is great - incredibly meticulous and professional. A man of craft.

My first visit today and I will defo return. I needed a fix from an awful cut last week. Alexandrio is a genius who understands hair. I had my hair cut by ***** at the Canary Wharf branch on the weekend just before Christmas. While cutting my hair, she complained about my hair being difficult and hurt my neck with the scissors several times. Although she hadn't been that welcoming the previous visit either, I still did not think that this was something specific to me. Instead, I chose to think that she was having a bad day and I tolerated both the pain and her behaviour. Even tipped her. I couldn't see my neck properly at the salon but when I arrived home my husband asked about the redness on my neck and took a photo to show me. I was shocked to see the red marks left by the scissors just under my hairline. I think this is not only unprofessional but also mean and there cannot be an excuse for the state of my neck, especially for a hairdresser whose skill level is claimed to be 'senior stylist.' If she didn't want me as a customer she could have simply refused the appointment. I know that this is far from a standard service you normally get at any Toni & Guy branch. I am left utterly irritated and perplexed by this experience.

Yesterday I had my hair cut with Sara a friendly and competent stylist. She took her time to understand what I would like and gave me suggestions as well. I am super happy with the hair cut.

I wanted a consultation regarding my color as I wasn't sure what kind of blond would suit me, I mentioned that on the phone and at the salon. The last time I had Charlene who was not available that evening she always took her time and gave me professional advice. The hairdresser I had was unable to provide me proper consultation, he didn't listen properly and didn't seem to care. I decided on my own that I would like to stay in a warm tone but want to get rid of the copper tone. Now my hair is even more copper than before and the highlights are not great. After he washed my hair I had to wait 10min with long wet hair for the stylist to come which is not very pleasant in a cold salon. I am super dissapointed with the service.

Normally I wouldn’t worry about writing review, yet this time I feel I should just to spare others from the same experience...
Had my hair done 5 weeks ago... the cut was fine (just need to tidy up the end anyway), but the blow dry was more of a BLOWTORCH TORTURE!!!

I would pay a top dollar to turn back time and to avoid this horrible experience....

The hair dryer was so hot not only did it burn my scalp and made it so so itchy and uncomfortable for weeks to come, most worrying of all - it made my hair awfully dry and shedding like I never experienced before.

I though my experience was just unfortunate and extremely unlucky, but two of my work colleagues had the same horrible treatment at the same salon (I wish they told me before I had my appointment!!!)

Needless to say not only will I never consider T&G again, but I will make sure none of my friends, family, colleague, even enemies ever use their services and end up having to go through the same horror I have experienced...

I have been coming to this salon for 5 years and so was my mum. I have long hair and I would come for blow dries, colour, cuts etc. Overall, a loyal customer and also referred my mum to the salon etc. This morning I cancelled an appointment 1 hour before the appointment time because I had a client meeting. This was urgent and I simply could not make my appointment.

I called this evening to book another appointment and was told that the manager put a note on my account that every time I book with the salon (no matter how far in advance) I must pay in full upfront.

Now it is not a matter of money. It is the attitude. If someone comes to your salon for five years almost every other week, you should value them as a customer if you are running a business. If I would have been cancelling several appointments in a row , without attending I would have understood this requirement to pay upfront. But this is not the case at all. Life sometimes gets in a way, and clients have a right to reschedule. especially if this is a loyal customer.

Having attended for 5 years without fail, I got a requirement to pay upfront because of cancelling one appointment - you can see how much the salon values me as a customer. I wasn’t ever offered a discount on anything or a free treatment on anything for attending for so many years.

Yet when I cancel one appointment - I get a requirement to pay upfront written on my account.

I hope the salon gets lots of customers who are willing to attend every other week to pay £47 for a blow dry. Good luck and I will go somewhere else where they appreciate clients.

Been a Toni and Guy customer for 17-18 years now, starting in Romford where I use to leave. Once I like a stylist I never leave them, and so over the last 5 years have had to travel all the way to Romford for my haircut. Sadly my stylist had to go on maternity leave which resulted in my new quest to find a replacement. Well, 10mins from where I live was another T&G outlet. Did my careful research on all their stylists and attended my first experience at their branch.

Well, what can I say. I found the reception staff focused and curteous, the atmosphere busy, yet bright and warm. My stylist was as I had expected (I do read reviews!). Very polite, enthusiastic, well-mannered, kind, thoughtful, and professional. I am someone who just likes to relax and sit in silence when having my haircut. The few times I get to relax in my life! And she really adapts to what I want, and makes me feel at ease and completely reassured.

Can’t fault this salon or my new stylist at all. What adds icing to the cake is the fact that the place is only 10mins from where I live!

Colour by Allison fantastic, she gave my dark hair a softer look. Cut by Adam exactly what I wanted, really sharp blunt bob.
Both were warm, friendly and professional.
First visit and it will now be my go to place. Very impressed.

Wasn’t very happy with the colour, wanted a soft look keeping with the colour I had on the ends but just ashing it out a bit. It’s upsetting as I thought he was a colour corrector from what I read on his profile but it seems he threw in the highlights and didn’t blend it to a base which I’d asked for in order for it to look soft. Really upsetting

Adam was fantastic. He listened to what I was wanting, gave me a new style, beautiful cut and I left the salon feeling great. Thanks Adam

I have my hair looked after by the same stylist for 10 years (or more), that alone says something, right? My experience at Toni & Guy Canary Wharf is always the same: excellent— swift, professional and feeling gorgeous. I feel that my stylist knows more about my head and hair than I do, so much that she would dissuade me from trying things that she knows unsuitable. As a result I am always asked by friends and colleagues, “where do you have your hair done?” Another indicator of exemplary service.

I have been seeing Katie (quite infrequently) for the last few years during which time I've been trying to repair and regrow badly frazzled and stress-wrecked hair. Katie is brilliant with helping me manage the awkward stages my hair goes through! Can't recommend her enough :)
