Will is great, my hair always looks amazing and he gives fantastic practical advice.

It's the first time I've had Abigail and I was blown away.

She listened really attentively to what I wanted and the result was lovely. Just what I'd asked for.

Recently saw Jools after a consultation to rectify a colour I wasn’t happy with. She completely transformed my hair and the results have left me feeling confident and super happy with the results.

Abi is a great stylist. Recently visited for a trim and came out feeling great.

Abigail gave me a lovely cut and colour. She always takes such trouble to be sure of a perfect result. Lovely atmosphere in salon as usual.

Being new to the area I popped in to see if someone could trim my fringe. Abi had a spare few minutes so said yes. I was so happy that I booked an appointment with her for a full wash, cut etc I have continued to be a client of Abi's. I love getting my hair cut at Laws Salon. The star is of course Wil who does a brilliant cut every time, but everyone in the salon is friendly and the combination makes for an interesting and stimulating environment. I never thought I’d have haircut while discussing the correct materials to use for constructing successful submersibles, or the likelihood of encountering UFOs with actual crew members, but I do and it’s far more inspiring than trying to think of a smart answer to the ever-present question ‘Where are you going on your holidays this year?’. Anyway, anyway, it’s friendly and fun and I look forward to it. I even left another salon in Saffron Walden as it was too boring – and found the antidote in the team at Laws.

But on my recent trip to Laws something had changed. Staff were quieter, more circumspect, Wil’s space toys had vanished, it wasn’t the same. Turns out someone complained. Someone who by my reckoning doesn’t have a very happy life. Complained about everything – the banter, the coffee, the toys – and was probably too busy being in a huff to realise that they left with an excellent haircut. Anyway, I gather they are going elsewhere for future hairdos, but the wreckage created by their whingeing and moaning is evident for all the rest of us to see.

David and Jo, why don’t you put your thinking caps on and decide who’s more important? One embittered former customer, or your team and all the rest of us who keep coming back for more great experiences and haircuts? Please get back to your avant garde ways to delight both customers and your great team.

As always left the salon feeling amazing. Will always provides great advice and now have a regular routine for toner/balayage which ensure healthy hair but with extra interest. Hair washing by the new salon member was also very good!

Wil has cut and coloured my hair for quite a while now - and I’m very happy !
I have curly somewhat difficult hair, and Wil does a great job at taming it . Wil is a very interesting guy and not only do you get a first class cut and colour -you get a glimpse of life from Wils view point - usually very funny and well informed !!

Great advice before my restyle regarding what would work best. Interesting chat with someone who knows their stuff regarding all things hair. Fun environment with happy staff. A proper treat from start to finish :) highly recommend.

On arrival, as always , greeted with a smile and a warm welcome and asked if I wanted some refreshment ( but I already had my own) .My stylist , Steve was very accommodating when I asked him for a completely different style of haircut ( short) , his response was “ OK, let’s go for it! “ When finished I was very impressed and very happy with the result, something very different from the style I had before, nice and lightweight,. Lovely ! I will be returning to the salon in roughly Six weeks time . Thank you so much , Lesley.
