I’d like to thank Abigail for a lovely cut this afternoon. She takes a lot of trouble to make sure I was happy. She put some layers in my hair and made waves with the GHD’s to create a soft modern look. Very pleased with the results.

Thanks Wil for adding a couple more highlights today. I had 2 or 3 pieces that had not lifted high enough in colour having had a half head HL 3 weeks ago.
I was put at ease immediately and colour corrected expertly. I was treated so kindly and as if no trouble at all.

My first time at the salon and was paired with Holly. I messaged last minute and the salon were really helpful fitting me in. Holly was lovely took time to find out what I wanted. I’m really happy with the cut. The flicky fringe was exactly what I wanted. Holly also chatted with me about shampoo and conditioner as I was not happy with the one I’m using currently. Very happy and looked forward to returning.

Really good fun chat, very friendly and kind as always to me and my daughter who was also having her hair done. Very good colour and cut. Good advice on the colour and a good blunt cut, as I like it.

Another Balyage and I’m delighted with the results! Will seems to know what I want and I love the lack of root growth I used to get with highlights. I’m embarrassingly low maintenance so this really suits me. Thanks Will, this man knows his stuff!

Recently saw Jools after a consultation to rectify a colour I wasn’t happy with. She completely transformed my hair and the results have left me feeling confident and super happy with the results.

Abi is a great stylist. Recently visited for a trim and came out feeling great.

Being new to the area I popped in to see if someone could trim my fringe. Abi had a spare few minutes so said yes. I was so happy that I booked an appointment with her for a full wash, cut etc I have continued to be a client of Abi's. Will was professional and attentive, washing my hair after I’d had an eye operation. Definitely a good experience of the salon.

I love getting my hair cut at Laws Salon. The star is of course Wil who does a brilliant cut every time, but everyone in the salon is friendly and the combination makes for an interesting and stimulating environment. I never thought I’d have haircut while discussing the correct materials to use for constructing successful submersibles, or the likelihood of encountering UFOs with actual crew members, but I do and it’s far more inspiring than trying to think of a smart answer to the ever-present question ‘Where are you going on your holidays this year?’. Anyway, anyway, it’s friendly and fun and I look forward to it. I even left another salon in Saffron Walden as it was too boring – and found the antidote in the team at Laws.

But on my recent trip to Laws something had changed. Staff were quieter, more circumspect, Wil’s space toys had vanished, it wasn’t the same. Turns out someone complained. Someone who by my reckoning doesn’t have a very happy life. Complained about everything – the banter, the coffee, the toys – and was probably too busy being in a huff to realise that they left with an excellent haircut. Anyway, I gather they are going elsewhere for future hairdos, but the wreckage created by their whingeing and moaning is evident for all the rest of us to see.

David and Jo, why don’t you put your thinking caps on and decide who’s more important? One embittered former customer, or your team and all the rest of us who keep coming back for more great experiences and haircuts? Please get back to your avant garde ways to delight both customers and your great team.

As always left the salon feeling amazing. Will always provides great advice and now have a regular routine for toner/balayage which ensure healthy hair but with extra interest. Hair washing by the new salon member was also very good!

Very please my haircut look forward to next Thursday appointment .
