HOB Hair Salon Epping, Essex

After searching for the that comfortable feeling, I found it at Epping. Daniel is welcoming and invested in each client to Make sure they leave with the “good feeling”, I had a twirled with the idea of finally putting colour to my hair after 33 years, not knowing what I needed Daniel made sure to talk me through the stages and gave me the perfect look and I couldn’t be happier.

While you can’t stop and smile when he starts to sing, his professional abilities is on point and yes I alway leave with that good feeling.

It’s always a pleasure to go to Hobbs in Epping.
The salon is buzzing and professional .
My colour is exactly what I wanted by Beth and I had the best blo dry by another lady.
Can’t wait to go back .

I’m so pleased with the result of my hair Beth was very helpful when it came to getting the exact finish I want in terms of length and colour running through. The overall experience in the salon was lovely and everyone was so nice still including Beth who was nothing but a pleasure. I have had so many compliments on my hair already so I am over the moon about it!

I popped in for a quick chat on how I could get out of my style rut and felt spat ease with Sophia I just went for a complete restyle. Her cut was amazing and the precision incredible. Better than expensive london salons. I feel like a nee woman, thank you Sophia!

I highly recommend Sophie, she took the time to listen to what I wanted and worked with me to get the right result. It was my first visit to Hobbs but not my last!

Beth was amazing my hair had got quite dark and I wanted a change so wanted to go lighter , I was nervous but Beth made me feel at ease as she understood what I wanted , after quite a while in the chair my hair is amazing I love it so so much thanks to Beth ?

Love how Sophie cuts and styles my hair! We are always treated so well when visiting Hobs and we now wouldn’t go anywhere else! My girls (5 and 7) have their cut at the same time by Ruby and Kiah and they come out feeling like princesses! They even love having their hair washed ?. Thank you to you all. We will be back!

A very friendly professional salon. Sophia cut my hair just as I wanted and styled it really well. I got lots of compliments. This was my first visit and I will be going back.

Been going to Sophie for a good couple of years now, always gives me a great cut, is polite and clearly passionate about her final product. Always happy with the experience and the outcome.

Sophie was outstanding as always and I will continue to seek her always when booking an appointment. Her attention to detail is exemplary.

My query is to the wider of why when staff no longer need to wear PPE why towels are still not be used and the customer remains paying for this. The risk is greater with a lack of staff PPE than a towel. This does not appear rational!

A hairdresser who knows exactly what I want, more than I do. Super friendly and lovely. I travel from Loughton just for him.

I always let Daniel advise me on small tweaks and changes in colour and length and he always gets it right. I trust his judgement and feel relaxed when he’s cutting my hair.

Ruby is an amazing stylist. She knows what my hair needs better than I know myself. I chat, read, relax while she fixes me and I always know the results will draw admiring comments from friends and family. After Covid this salon is like wellness therapy - clean, calm, well-organised, welcoming and professional in every way. I have been a client in many hair salons over the years and Hob, Epping is the best of the best. Thank you Ruby and thanks to everyone who is involved in making Hob Epping such a lovely place to visit.

This was my first time at the salon. I called in the morning and got an appointment the same afternoon. I wanted a shorter bob for my thick hair and Daniel really took his time to think about what would be suit me. The whole team were very warm and friendly. Especially the girl who washed my hair. I will definitely be back.

Daniel listened to how I wanted my hair cut & styled. He advised me to add a few layers & reassured me he would cut less & then cut more if I wanted too. Friendly but professional at all times he cut & blow dried my hair. . It’s the first time I’ve been to a hair salon in years, and I left very happy.

Went there for a haircut and a blow dry. I have been there before for a blow dry only and ive been happy. After the haircut my hair looked terrible and frizzy, nothing helped and i was unable to style it and fix the puffiness. Now i’m spending crazy amount of money for expensive products trying to fix it. Hair looked great in the saloon, only saw the terrible result after washing at home. Extra weight was taken off my hair which was the problem. This wasn't explained to me by the hairstylist and now i am stuck with a horrible hair to deal with. I would like someone from the saloon to get in touch with me because my hair has been ruined and this shouldn't be happening!!

Hannah and Maria and all of the staff I have dealt with are so approachable, warm and honest. They give great advice. Hannah and Maria have real vision and integrity. They tell u what they can do and deliver the most beautiful cuts, colour and styling. I completely trust them. I am very fussy about my hair and they have always left me delighted and impressed. I get compliments from people when I've had my hair done by them. Thanks for providing such a great and talented service.

I have been a regular with Hannah for many years. I love the way she cuts and always pleased with the redults

I am not a natural blonde and I was hating the harsh root look I was getting from highlights when my hair grew. From meeting Daniel he understood perfectly what I wanted and the champagne blonde mixed with low lights worked so well on me and my hair looked so natural when it grew out.

He is so talented with colour and I will always ask for him now! So happy I found him.

From the minute you walk in the door with Emma on reception through to Hannah always making me feel Like a new woman when she has finished cutting and styling my hair. It took me a long time to find a decent stylist and friendly hairdresser and I have coming here for about 3 years

Beth knows my hair and adapts my colour exactly how I like it. At the moment I am a bit lighter due to being summer and in the winter a bit warmer. I can trust Beth I implicitly and she is always honest with me. Can thoroughly recommend

I tried HOB Salon in Epping on Saturday for the first time as I couldn’t get an appointment at my usual salon. It can be a bit of a risk going somewhere new but I have to say my experience there was fantastic from start to finish! Daniel is a very skilled colourist and knew exactly what would suit me when I asked for a natural balayage style. The cut and finish were also amazing and left me with hair that felt so healthy and easy to manage. There was a really nice atmosphere in the salon too; you could tell all the stylists had good relationships with their clients. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend HOB (and especially Daniel) to anyone looking for a professional and friendly salon in Epping.

Lovely warm and friendly salon, and that is all the staff not just my stylist. Marie really understands me and what I want fantastic service every time.
