Natalie always cuts the most perfect bob. I get compliments after every haircut.

As usual I am very happy with my stylist and her suggestions but there is room for improvement in the cleanliness area.

Lovely salon and lovely service. Really enjoyed the head massage.

I got my hair highlighted yesterday with Hannah and she did a lovely job. I did not have a hair cut booked but asked for this whilst there and she managed to do this too. I know she is very busy and appreciated her fitting this in for me. I always enjoy my chats with Hannah, she has a lovely laid back bubbly personality.

I also get my hair done by Rob who cuts it beautifully. He often offers me advice and I recently had a treatment to straighten my hair to illuminate frizz. This has been a great help and makes me want to go back to this salon.

Hair colours was left an my ears, and forbead it was hard to remove

I returned to a new stylist at the Colchester salon for the 2nd time. The lady who washed my hair was chatty and friendly. Hair care from the stylist was super from start to finish with attention to detail and friendly & chatty. The only reason why I didn't give 4* for value is I think Tony & Guy is a little over priced but that's no reflection at all of the quality of customer care.

I had Paul colour my hair - it's looks the best it's ever looked. He was really good and suggested getting a half head which looks really good. Will go back again when I next need it done. Everyone was very friendly and I was able to book an appointment last min for a Saturday morning

Just had my hair highlighted and then had a cut. Everything very good and my hair looked great. Unfortunately it was raining and I had not even a coat then from nowhere I was handed an umbrella! How good is that! Always good to visit and thanks for the extra effort.

I came in the salon today and had a fantastic experience. I've not been to the salon for a year or so as my husband died suddenly and couldn't face it ....I'm so glad I did, Agnes the young woman who coloured my hair was kind and so professional and my hair has gone from awful to really lovely ????I'm thrilled thank you so much. I will now return as Agnes client in the salon starting with a cut on Monday.

Really knowledgeable hair dresser who gave some really good advice and opinions as well as doing a great cut. All in all a really nice experience.

Bubbly, fun to be around, great hair dresser took the time to understand how I'd like my cut to work and manage it..

Paul coloured my hair to his usual excellent high standard and I was extremely pleased with the result. I then had Christie cut my hair once again to her usual excellent standard. Both are highly professional and friendly without being too familiar. I have very thick hair and they both take their time never rushing or cutting corners. It was an enjoyable experience.

I've been going to Colchester Toni and Guy for years now and I still come out every time feeling a million dollars. Staff are so friendly and so knowledgeable. I'd recommend them to anyone.

I never know what I want, nor do I know how to ask for what I don't know what I want. I lack confidence, interest, terminology to engage with hair styles and so it's usually a nightmare to cut my hair.

Which also makes it a nightmare for me to get my hair cut.

But today I had a genuinely great experience here. Everyone was friendly, welcoming.... I explained my problem/need (attending a wedding in two weeks and being in a general panic about what to do with my hair).

I was taken seriously and given not just a great haircut, but also hands on guidance on what to do with my hair on the day. Super helpful super friendly! 10/10 would recommend.

Really pleased with my hair colour looks so well toned just what i asked for. Jade was so on it when it came to sorting my hair out and the girl who dried my hair done it so nice. Probably one of the best ive had. Can't remember her name though.

Bradley has cut my hair 3 times now. He is simply an outstanding young hairdresser. He's clearly a complete natural, has enormous pride in his work and the single best hairdresser I've come across in 25 years. He's also a super nice, personable guy. Top marks, thanks Bradley!

I have forgotten my stylists name (sorry!) but she was great! She really listened to me about what I wanted, seemed to 'get' my hair and gave me a fantastic haircut! I've just washed it and it's gone back into the shape that she cut with no styling , love it!

It's been nearly 20 years since I had a hairdresser who I felt really got what I was trying to achieve with my hair. The appt. today was a spur of the moment thing and I'm so glad I did. Lauren was really friendly; asked lots of questions about what I wanted and was generous with her suggestions when I wasn't sure. She has done a fabulous job on my hair; taking her time to get it right. I enjoyed our chat too so the whole experience (reception and hair washing too) was just what I needed.
I have marked the atmosphere down as the salon feels a little tired and gloomy.
