I am currently going through chemotherapy and called Retreat to see if they could help me as my hair was falling out.,Marie was so kind -.booking me at the end of the day so had some privacy. Looking after me, looking after my scalp and cutting and styling my remaining hair. I couldn’t have asked for more kindness and compassion at the worse point of a women’s life - when she has to face losing all her hair.

Another excellent visit to Retreat. You are made to feel special the minute you enter the salon. From the young lady who washed my hair and gave me an excellent scalp massage, to sitting down with Gillian who knew exactly what was needed for my thinning, fine hair. She explained her thoughts and ideas and I was absolutely delighted with the result. I thoroughly enjoyed catching up with Gillian and look forward to my next visit.

If Marie can’t solve your hair problems and make you feel a million dollars then no one can. Shes an expert at her job and wonderful to have on my hair journey

Another fantastic haircut from Marie. I went in with a my hair in dire need of of a haircut and came out ready to face the world again !! A coffee, a head massage and a very professional haircut in a clean friendly atmosphere . What more could you want !!

I had a great experience, staff were very helpful and welcoming and Paige was very friendly and did an amazing job with my hair, considering I have long thick hair it took no time at all to have my hair cut and pinned curls, the whole appointment felt seamless! Im a type 1 diabetic and when I first came in I was low blood sugar and the receptionist was very helpful in getting me apple juice, and biscuits and then Paige made me a tea with sugar and I was grateful for that extra care!

Ellie G really takes the time to ubderstabd what you want, what's important to you and explain what she's doing and why. She's also shared so much hair care and styling information with me, I feel more empowered to play around with my style.

Maddy is really good at knowing how to cut my hair. I’ve got really fine, flat hair and she puts nice layers in it to create more volume.

No matter how you feel when you go in to Re:Treats you will always come out feeling on top of the world. Not only because you hair looks great but you have had a lovely time, in a great environment and with great people.

As always a discussion about what I would like for my hair followed by a great cut and blow dry.

I was recommend to come to this salon, I met with Richard, had a consultation with him and am set to have a cut and colour in a few weeks. The salon was buzzing and am really looking foward to having my hair done.

I used to be a regular client prior to the pandemic , so to win a raffle prize of a cut & blow dry at Retreat was a lovely surprise & I was looking forward to my appointment, It was a lovely treat after years of a home hairdresser etc . There is something very enjoyable about having a regular hairdresser at your chosen salon which enhances the whole experience , & I've missed that . Ellie G was lovely & gave me a great cut ,

I came to the salon very nervous as I have curly hair and have had many bad experiences in the past. My last hairdresser left so I changed salon and met Ellie. She did a great job and I'll definitely be back.

I am always really pleased with Emma and Gillian. I always feel listened to and made to feel comfortable and I am always happy with my highlights and haircut.

Ellie B or G was very helpful and explained all and showed me all there was to know about tape extensions .
