Really good experience today. I had my hair cut washed and blowdried . The stylist was called ellie she was really pleasant and professional I have already booked my next appointment.I was very pleased with my hair.

Good atmosphere and very professional but for what was done (very little) the appointment was a waste. After saying I wanted more shaping done to the back and to my outgrown bangs, minimal shaping was actually done and therefore I wouldn't return to this particular stylist (who I only can presume is new or in training). Previous appointments have been great and I've been happy with the result but this pre-holiday haircut has only left me with an empty purse.

Perfect as always, especially appreciate that the staff go out of their way to make sure the colour and cut work for you individually, recommendations and suggestions always turn out beautifully here!

Had an appointment for myself and my daughter for a wedding. Only wanted our hair curled, mine was fine however my daughters hair which is naturally curly anyway couldn't have ended up straighter within half an hr of leaving the salon. Called to speak to them and was told the manager would call me back last Wednesday however they never bothered to follow up.....I paid £20 for a child's hair do for it to be straight with 30mins!!! Disappointed in the lack of follow up!

The attention to detail was exactly what I needed..Andrew took time to explain what he was going to do to give me a more youthful haircut which is what I asked for..spot on Andrew..thoroughly recommended ????

Born a natural brunette,there has been some resistance fighting the silver/grey that comes with age...hence making the transition to blonde...my visit to saks offered me expert advice on tone and shades,effective products that would maintain and enhance the condition..1st class service. great!

Always a good experience, even if you have to wait, you are greeted with warm welcome, coat hung up & coffee brought to you. Sakes prices are over the top, bit we have a choice. I would always choose Saks.

Great to have one to one and not spend longer than 2hrs in the salon. Lovely colour, dried nice and bouncy instead of flat to my head! And rather nice coffee too!

Outstanding customer service from Simon and the team yet again.

Having recently moved into the area I made the mistake of booking an appointment as a less than professional salon who managed to butcher my hair and turn it the shade of poo green normally associated with a bad case of gastro enteritis.
Luckily for me I called into the local Saks Salon, one I had never tried before, and the worst serful Andrew turned a disaster into a Wow Experience. He coloured, he cut and he coaxed and wouldn't let me leave until he was sure that I was happy with my new look. Not only am I happy - I am ecstatic. For the first time in years I have a sassy new style that wipes years off my 64 years and has boosted my confidence beyond belief.
I am over the moon that I have found a fabulous stylist in a friendly salon and shall certainly be making my visits there a regular occurrence.
I do think know if you have a customer service award but if you do then I would certainly nominate Andrew at Barnard Castle as a more than deserving recipient.
Saks Salons are now at the top of my Recommend To A Friend list.

I look forward to my regular appointment at Barnard Castle Saks.It is the only place where I can sit and relax, read a magazine, have a friendly chat and leave feeling more attractive than when I arrived thank you Andy and team.

As usual and excellent friendly service by everyone in the salon . In particular Jess who did bother amazing job for me - never disappointed , it was a lovely xmas atmosphere with them all dressed up - they all deserve the break over the xmas period . Anoth appointment next week for a keratin treatment. Wishing the salon every success for 2017.

Hi, i was very impressed with the advise given by sarah and my colour and cut was great, my only shock was my bill at the end, so expensive, have looked at your prices on the website and still cant understand the charge of £133, i have no complaints with sarah at all she was lovely, just far too much to spend, if soneobe could check to see if my bill is right i would be gratful.
