You can’t make a silk purse out of a sow’s ear as they say but Sarah did a great job with my very difficult hair as always. The salon ambience and organization was also excellent as usual.

I have been attending Saks for many years and I’m really happy with my stylist, Ann-Elise., who is a ray of sunshine. She always has a smile on her face, is creative and provides advice on how to achieve best results - I always leave the salon feeling great (& with an extra spring in my step :). The atmosphere in the salon is positive and I would not go anywhere else 😊

Look forward to having my hair cut and styled by Andrew he knows how I like it and he’s good company whilst I’m in the chair .

I visit Saks Barnard Castle regularly, its my happy place! Andrew keeps my unruly hair in peak condition, he wrestles with my double crown and cowlicks with skill and expertise but although he could tame the frizz in the Salon it was beyond me at home. Due to the fact that I was so fed up with my frizzy hair Andrew and Jess explained the 72 system for smoothing frizz to me, initially I was a little skeptical but in August 2021 I gave it a try, it really does work and it lasted a great deal longer than I had anticipated. I have just had the second treatment done, it takes a little longer than normal in the Salon, but it is really worth it to remove the dreaded frizzy bedhead look.

I can only go from my experience but Jess is the best hairdresser I have ever had. She took my hair from dead to amazing!! The salon is beautiful and all the staff are so lovely and welcoming. Overall such a lovely experience :)

Wonderful experience. Fabulous cut, colour and blow dry with the added tutorial on how to achieve best results at home.

The staff are always friendly, warm and professional. I feel like a million dollars when I leave too. Thank you as always xxxx

An enjoyable experience in a calm and controlled environment serviced by attentive staff. I left feeling extremely pleased with Ellie’s hair styling skill.

Andrew has a good understanding of my hair and today suggested a slight change in clour too help with the grey coming through the parting and hair line.

I have been having my hair done here for 3years, and am delighted with my hair & the salon experience every time, whether Simon as on this occasion, or other staff e.g Jess , as well as with the junior members of staff.

Jess was really helpful in sorting my hair from the washed out green to healthier red/pink. Excited to change to lilac next time!

This was my first time at Saks - Annalise managed to fit me in at short notice and I got a great hair cut from Andrew! Everyone was very friendly so overall an excellent experience and I'll definitely go back.

Staff are friendly and professional. Salon is clean and calming. I had a hair cut and hair mask treatment. I walked in with frizzy hair. I had a head massage with the hair mask and wow what a destresser. When I walked out my hair was smooth and beautiful cut. Thank you Ellie.

I needed a better colour and cut than I'd had elsewhere and got both at Saks. The colour is amazing, the cut precise and easy to manage and the condition is just gorgeous.
On top of that, a lovely overall experience with professional and friendly staff and a clean, comfortable salon. Couldn't ask for anything more and I am thrilled with my hair. Can't wait for next visit.

Thanks Jess a super job with my relatively fine hair giving it a lovely shape and looking thicker with a natural.curl and lovely colour - really natural.
