I booked an appointment today for my daughters to get their haircut before returning to school. Both Mia and Callum were fantastic, asking me and my daughters what they wanted and gave them a real salon experience. My girls always look forward to going to get their haircut as they have they have always been treated really well. Mia also managed to fit me in for a consultation and patch test afterwards to set up my first appointment. She was very informative and helped me decide the way to go with my colour and booked my appointment.

Arrived for the highlights and well needed cut . Acknowledged once entered into salon with friendly greeting All staff busily working away . Very small wait of 5 mins then coat taken and sat at chair for highlights to be started . Usual cup of tea and mags to read till hair was done enough to be now washed and foils removed ( sorry didn’t get lady who washed it but oh how that head massage relaxes you after the conditioner goes on . Then back to chair for cutting and blow drying and a bit of hair straighteners to help give it a boost . All in all well worth every pound fill back to normal and tidy again . 110% to all staff who work at Joanne’s and make us customers feel individually happy . And a thank you to mark for as usual letting me walk out glowing and happy with hair .

This is my 3rd time at Joanne’s and first time with this stylist as the one used previously was on holiday
Always take a pic of Jamie Lee Curtis as my hair is short and is best when cut in this pixie cut way
On this occasion the top is as per the pic. The front is OK but only after I insisted on additional cutting being taken.
However the sides are very disappointing. They are not level and have a clear line of cut arcing above each ear
I think my husband said it best - he pays circa £10 for his hair cut and it’s better quality than mine is for circa £40!

The salon s very clean and it’s a nice calming atmosphere I was originally booked in for a full head off bleach but ended up with a full head off highlights Callum took the time to talk me through the whole process explaining why a full head off highlights would be better for my hair while still achieving the light blonde colour I wanted as well as giving me a plan for future appointments to achieve the all over blonde
All throughout the process I found callum was kind and chatty I left the salon feeling very happy and more confident with my new hair!

No idea how many years I've been going to Marcia to get my hair done but every visit is great. I love sitting in her chair and catching up and relaxing for a couple of hours and I always come out of there feeling fabulous. It's not just Marcia but all the staff are amazing and make you feel very welcome. Thanks for your years of colour and cuts and there will definitely be many more!

Marcia’s been cutting my little one’s haircut since he was a baby. The patience she has is amazing. We didn’t get it cut for a while and when we started again he was not a happy toddler. He’s gone from crying hysterically when we first started to being calm and happily chatting away to her in the space of 6 visits. He now looks forward to seeing her and always gives Marcia a big cuddle. Her calmness and kindness are easy to pick up on which has been so valuable in getting to where we are with haircuts!
