Brilliant as Always

As always a lovely experience. The junior who washed my hair kept a good conversation and swiftly delivered coffee. Mark,as always, gave me his full attention and,as always, a fabulous cut. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

I wanted a dramatic change from my below shoulder hair to an inverse bob. Callum was excellent, he explained how he was going to make the cut work with my thick hair, checked carefully that I had thought through my decision (as it was a big change) then got on with a fantastic wash, cut and finish with great attention to detail, making sure the cut was perfect. All of this was enjoyed alongside friendly conversation, a cup of tea and great service. Will definitely be coming back.

I was so excited to visit again after meeting Anita last time and feeling really pleased with the way she cut my hair. Anita took time to discuss my needs and really cared about my hair and what style I wanted. She is so talented and truly an artist at work! I had a Brazilian blow dry for the very first time, as my hair is so frizzy and was fed up looking like a scarecrow all the time! I left today with beautiful glossy hair that feels so smooth to touch! I love it! I also love my new hair colour as I want to go back to being blonde, and Anita is gradually transforming it to the colour I desire. I can definitely recommend Joanne’s, the staff are all so friendly and there is a lovely atmosphere. I particularly recommend Anita, she is so attentive and considerate and extremely talented in hair styling. Thank you Anita

I popped in on the off chance of getting my messy hair tidied up. ... men's hairdressers just seem to want to use their clippers.
Marcia sorted out my curly uneven mop into a decently shaped even hairstyle without cutting it short. Just what I hoped for.
And it was very pleasant talking with Marcia during my time in the chair.

I phoned 8.30am and had an appointment 9.00am very impressed.
Callum was very polite and made me feel very welcome and comfortable. It’s the first time in a salon at 72 years old I have always been to a barber. I will definitely book again.

If I could add pictures I would. Paid £12 for my son to come out looking awful. Lovely lady but worst hair cut to date. Now I’m off spending another £10 to get it fixed

Hannah is great, she’s friendly but professional and you can tell she is going to be an amazing hairdresser! Being heavily pregnant it’s such a treat to go in and get my hair washed and French plaited - she’s a life saver!

My hair is thick and needed thinning out and trimming to a manageable style. Callum did just that and my hair felt so much lighter and easy to manage. Will definitely be returning!!

As a new client I was very impressed with the friendly staff and professional feeling of the salon. Vicky understood what needed done to my hair today and the finished cut was spot on. Parking outside was easy, all round thumbs up and I will be revisiting Joanne's again.

I have been coming to Marcia now for about 15 years! She's fantastic! She listens to what you want, she makes suggestions when you want something different and when I say to her "do whatever you want, surprise me!" she always comes up trumps with a fantastic hair do! We chat and we laugh and it's like getting together with a good friend for a couple of hours. I wouldn't go anywhere else!
