Muir-Chapman Hairdressing

My hair was a complete and utter mess following lockdown. No style and horrible condition. Luckily Terry has transformed it into something stylish and easy to manage. I took a picture in for him and he copied the style no problem. Really pleased.

The salon is reassuringly strong on Covid preventative measures. All staff are consistently friendly in a professional way. Congratulations to Tammy who has passed all her exams, a major achievement through the pandemic & lockdown.

Terry at Muir Chapman has been my hairdresser now for 2 years. The salon is exceptionally clean & very Covid safe, all of the team are friendly & professional. Terry listens & always delivers a great hairstyle - their colour expertise is second to none. I have & always will recommend Muir Chapman.

Friendly, warm welcoming atmosphere. Immaculate, modern salon. The salon owners are keen to give their clients an excellent experience. They listen carefully to their customers’ requirements and work meticulously to achieve them. Impressive Covid measures are in place.

Ive been going to this hairdressers for years, well old one first then this new salon. I don't usually do reviews but this place deserves it, I see Luke and nothings to much trouble for him to be honest to put up with me he must be good! Seriously they are brilliant and that's coming from someone who is not a big fan of hairdressers, I've had a few bad experiences in the past so it shows how good they are, Brilliant hairdressers.

Tammy did a great job on my hair. She was polite and friendly. The salon was clean and tidy and stations were cleaned as each client left. I felt safe and comfortable throughout my visit and have booked my next appointment.

I’ve been going to Muir Chapman for years, your always guaranteed to get a warm welcome and brilliant service. I had another great cut and blow dry today by Nicola, can’t recommend them enough.

Naomi gave me à lovely haircut. But, unfortunately the atmosphere was very noisy! The Male hairdressers were shouting through their masks., both at each other and at their customers.

Spotlessly clean, every effort made to ensure infection is not brought onto the premises or transmitted, kind friendly staff, gentle products use that even I am not allergic to. Clients separated by large smart mirrors. Very well run. Very pleased.

The service has always been very personal and pleasant. But when under Pressure through COVID and loss of staff, they still went out of their way to treat their clients as before. Each person had a personal phone call to reschedule their appointments as lockdown continued and staff have worked extra hours to cover for the clients who lost their normal stylist. Above and beyond!

What a relief to be back. Felt completely safe and well looked after. Nicky able to repair the damage I had done during lock down!!

Terry always goes the extra mile. Today he has opened early to help me get in and get my hair cut. Terry is incredibly knowledgable and skilled as a hairdresser. I first came to Muir Chapman in 2015 and have been with them since. Terry always remembers what was done last time and asks me to reflect on how it has been and what I want. I trust Terry to do what he thinks is best, as I have little knowledge, to get a smart modern look. He never fails. Very happy with MuirChapman and would highly recommend.

Despite all the necessary current restrictions. The salon is always a lovely place to go with a great team , always cheerful and I always leave very happy with the results. Luke has been doing my hair for many many years .Their team friendliness and professionalism is much appreciated.

From start to fabulous finish my visit was great. I’m delighted with my now short hair style thanks to Luke’ skill and expertise with the scissors.
