I have been a client of Salt for the last 3 years. I have my hair done at least once a week and the services is fab.
Always so nice to come to such a lovely Salon. Erin has always looked after me from my first visit and always understands exactly what I want and does a fab job every time.
My bob has been cut very badly, the right side isn’t level with the left and has been cut into with heavy layers. My sister thought I had an asymmetrical hairstyle it’s that obvious.
I know I should return to Salt to amend the problem but I don’t have the mental capacity to go there and I have lost my trust for my hair to be messed about with again. I have had to make an appointment elsewhere
I have been using Salt now for almost 7 years and always receive the best service. Shannon is an amazing colourist as is Erin. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Last summer I decided to dye my hair from brunette to blonde and every appointment since then Millie has made me feel like a completely fresh new woman. I have very long thick hair but she is so patient and thorough with it. Each time she makes the experience so enjoyable, offering me drinks and asking lots of lovely questions. And most importantly, my hair turns out better than I’d imagined every time! I live in London but I wait until I’m in Devon each holiday to specifically visit Salt! Great first impressions at reception with a member of staff being very positive and helpful.
Consultation the following day was also very positive with the stylist listening carefully and advising professionally showing skill and knowledge.

I can't recommend Salt hairdressers highly enough. The staff are warm friendly and professional. Rachel my stylist takes the time to listen to exactly what I want, she pays attention to detail and takes great pride in her work. The salon has a lovely atmosphere making the whole experience enjoyable. they make great coffee too!

Colour looks great and cut sits just the way I like it.
Being a teen in the 60s cut is everything!I have difficult fine hair that is impossible to style if the cut isnt right.Never had a bad cut at Salt in 20 years .
Looking around the salon it is evident that all needs are catered for in every age group and with every style.
The atmosphere is very relaxed and friendly and despite being a busy salon you are never made to feel rushed.

Arriving at my appointment with Amy is always a joy. Everyone smiling and welcoming. Then Amy arrives She has such a happy personality and so easy to talk too. She asks me how I would like my hair and gives me the opportunity to discuss change. However, she has found the style for me that is just perfect. I know that she understands my hair and my lifestyle, and that's because she takes the trouble to ask. I have been Amy's client for at least 6 or 7 years and except for a short period of time when I had to go somewhere else. I was desperate to get back to my appointments with her. Amy's talent with my hair is constantly commented on. I always sing her praises and tell everyone what a fabulous hairdresser she is. Thankyou Amy. Xc
It is sad that Chris only works one day a week, I used to have my hair done every week but with the change of my circumstances I cannot book in advance, and therefore sometimes it is difficult to get an appointment. But she is always a delight when I do get in to see her. All the other ladies are welcoming and great, very pleasant.
