About us

David Lloyd Salon & Club Spa, Convineiently located just inside the club entrance, this salon offers a bustling hairdressing space, two dedicated treatment rooms and a manicure & pedicure area.

Since our inception, we have dedicated ourselves to nurturing creativity and care in all that we do. Fusing a welcoming atmosphere with the expertise of our team, we offer bespoke services to suit your needs.

Through our approach to aftercare and long-term treatment plans, we’re proud to have families spanning three generations visiting us for their hair and beauty services.

Over the last forty years our salons have undergone many makeovers themselves, offering our customers contemporary salon, spa and beauty spaces, including boutique areas for hair and skin care products to compliment appointments.

Spanning seven locations across Derbyshire, from the historic Cathedral Quarter in Derby, to the market town of Ashbourne, you will find an array of salons each with their own unique charm.

We are committed to being part of thriving local business community’s. Around each salon is an array of fantastic independent businesses, from coffee shops and restaurants, to designer fashion and unique gift shops.

Absolutely incredible stylist and gives accurate advice on aftercare. I’ve been coming to Holly for a few years now and would never go anywhere else. She always produces the most incredible work and I always leave feeling extremely satisfied. She gives incredibly clear after care advice and does her best to get you rebooked when convenient for you. Her knowledge of hair shines through when offering advice on colours, toners and cutting styles. I’ve been to other hairdressers before and have never felt so happy and lucky to have found Holly. After having some horror stories in the past it’s so refreshing to fall in love with my hair again. Thank you so much Holly❤️

For years I had quite ooorbhaircits until my wife suggested I get it cut at the David Lloyd. I picked Rosie at random the first time as she was the person free when I was able to get my hair cut. I’ve been quite a few times and I am very happy indeed with the cut and how it grows out every time.
I don’t think I’ve ever had a better cut.
Booking is very easy via the app and I have always felt very comfortable and welcome in the salon

Thank you so much for fitting me in on Friday when Rachel was unable to cut my hair. This weekend marks the start of our 30th wedding anniversary celebrations with a trip to see Coldplay & then a holiday to the Maldives. I’d eked out the length of time between appointments & had completely grown my hair style out. I was hoping that my restyle on Friday would last till I arrived at the resort on Monday. When I heard that Rachel wasn’t in I panicked! Could I possibly wear an Oasis bucket hat to a Coldplay gig? Thankfully Reception managed to squeeze me in with the brilliant technician who did a fabulous job of cutting my hair & showed me a new way of styling it. She certainly saved the day & I’m extremely grateful.

I have a wash and blow dry at this salon every week. The staff there are really lovely, professional and very good at their jobs. Holly, Rosie and Rachel are the stylists I usually have and I would highly recommend any of them. Jane the receptionist is friendly and helpful, if I need an appointment or to change an appointment it’s never a problem. I am always really pleased with my hair when I leave the salon. One thing I would like to see change is the ability to leave a tip on the card terminal as I don’t always have cash.
