As always a visit to Aveda is a pleasure. The staff on reception are always friendly and welcoming. Hollie (stylist) and Nikki (therapist) are always professional and friendly. On this occasion I was getting my hair done. Hollie is a mind reader, i always feel in safe hands and come away with a good cut which is easy for me to maintain.

I have been going to Preeti for years. Wouldn’t go anywhere else as she knows how I like my hair and always does a fantastic job.

This is the second visit to Jade and I have been delighted with results. I have a sensitive scalp and can not tolerate many harsh products currently on the market. Your products which I do not react to as well as the service and results have made me a returning client. The girls at the front desk are so welcoming and Jade listened to my requests and offered very valuable advice. My hair has never looked and felt so good - thanks so much!

The salon:

The salon is perfectly situated in Glasgow city centre, just off George Square. Upon entering the glass doors, the salon feels tranquil and inviting. The reception team (Gill and Holly) are always professional and helpful. I love this salon because they exclusively use naturally derived and cruelty free Aveda products. They offer nice little extra touches including hand massages and shoulder/ head massages as part of the experience. It’s also possible to upgrade to include shine treatments and nourishing hair masks or a 10 minute facial.

Stylists

Jade has been my stylist for almost a year. She is extremely experienced and my hair is in the best condition despite colouring it every 3 weeks. She is the master of the bouncy blow-dry and my hair is always styled perfectly.

Gemma is also an amazing colourist and creates the most beautiful, vibrant hair shades (I’m not quite brave enough to do this, but the results are amazing).

The cost may be slightly higher than some places, however, my hair looks wonderful and I’m absolutely delighted with the results. I’m happy to recommend Bloom.

Nikki is so lovely and is an absolutely fabulous therapist. My nails are always amazing.

All the staff are nice and friendly. Hollie who cuts my hair is an excellent stylist. Listens to how I want my hair cut and will suggest styles to suit me. Excellent experience.

First appointment with Jade very happy with cut and colour. Great recommendation on a new product for my scalp looking forward to using pramasana scalp concentrate. See you in 8 weeks. Thanks

My favourite hair salon in the whole of the UK. Every member of the team is just so talented at their job, I trust everyone in that salon to guarantee I will leave feeling like a movie star.

The salon is always immaculate and all staff are always pleasant and welcoming. Gillian is a superhero. I don’t know how she does it, but every time she goes above and beyond to make sure I’m happy with my hair and even although she’s incredibly busy, makes you feel like the only person in the salon! Extremely grateful for lovely natural looking blonde and a cut to perfection. Thank you!

Gemma is fantastic, I’m always very happy with my haircut. I also find the whole experience which includes a head massage, hand massage and complimentary drink very relaxing. A very nice salon with a lovely atmosphere too.

I have been going to Nikki for facials for a while and always feel so relaxed afterwards. She really tailors the facials to my needs every time I visit, relaxation, massage, exfoliating and afterwards my skin is always glowing.
The products and spa are fantastic. I always look forward to a visit.

Love this salon and the aveda philosophy

The spa is so calming which is amazing considering the hustle and bustle outside. Natalie is such a warm and friendly lass and is a pleasure to spend an hour with her. She made me feel so comfortable and relaxed and was able to read between the lines following the consultation to suggest alternatives to suit my needs. The facial was amazing and I feel amazing too. Can’t wait to come back. The reception welcome is also so lovely, what a great place to spend an hour or two!

From start to finish my treatment was just lovely. Not just the massage but the consultation before and follow up after. Highly recommend!

My first time in the salon. Hollie introduced herself to me listened to what i wanted and offered me some advice regarding caring for my hair. Hollie gave me a lovely cut . Very happy with that and toner she applied. Will definitely be back .

As nice as the ladies are this is hands down the worst haircut I've ever received(I've been getting the same cut for about 3 years now) and the brow colour is wildly inappropriate for my hair and skin tone.

I booked the 2 hour experience and it was amazing. Started off with a foot soak, and a really good consultation resulting in a tailored full body massage (Swedish and hot stone) followed by a one hour facial, including a head massage. Just brilliant, especially on the heated bed!

Lindsay ( hope I’ve spelt your name properly!) is fabulous! Within an hour she transformed my embarrassingly lacklustre locks into a very chic wee ‘do’. I’m delighted! She never fails to deliver, and really looks and listens to get what you want just right.

My visit to the salon today was a very relaxing experience. The friendly welcome from reception staff and stylists indicated the standards that were to follow. Jade listened to my requests, added some suggestions and proceeded to highlight and cut my hair skilfully . The ‘extras’ included hot drink, hand and shoulder massage and I was fortunate to benefit from a complimentary nail polish! This was a return visit and won’t be my last. The appointment is worth saving up for and hopefully prices will be held in coming year.

Always love coming to Aveda for colour and cut - excellent salon and staff - booking online is easy and love the add on treatments - will return for a longer massage ?

Today I had a big bouncy blow dry with Keira and she really made an amazing job of my hair. The salon was welcoming, friendly and I felt relaxed straight away. Keira explained what she was going to do, we discussed the condition of my hair and she gave me some sound advice on how to treat it. At every step she explained the products and their benefits. The complimentary head and shoulder massage was just what the doctor ordered. I do love a lot of volume in my hair and she did not disappoint. My hair felt light, bouncy and most importantly it has stayed in place despite the wet and windy day. Looking forward to my next visit already.

The spa is such a lovely calming place. I now go regularly to Vicky who is an excellent massage therapist. She manages to address the tensions in my back neck and shoulders and I come out feeling relaxed with no stiffness. I would highly recommend the spa. Very professional and caring staff. Excellent experience every time.
