As a salon we pride ourselves on delivering the highest standards of customer service to each and every client. Our talented team of stylists and technicians are on hand to give you expert advice and create hair that is individual and easy to live with, interpreting fashion trends with versatile wearable styles.

Gillian has been cutting my hair for 15 years. I was due to make an appointment just before lock-down, so it’s actually 6 months since I got it cut. It was pretty unruly and, like most guys, I for pretty close to ordering some clippers and shaving it off. So glad I didn’t and Gillian has worked wonders and it looks the beat it has in years.

Atmosphere in salon was very welcoming despite masks and gowns
All staff very professional whilst having to operate behing masks. Gillian ,as ever offering positive advice about my hair which is quite difficult manage and it was great to have the opportunity to confide in one's hairdresser, which is a very important part of having a cut and blow dry

A Poor Cut & Lack of Atmosphere

I thought I would treat myself to the next level up of stylist than I usually have as I haven’t had a haircut for so long. However, my cut was, sadly quite poor. So disappointing after waiting so long and paying much more than I usually would!! I feel that this might partially be down to the stylist battling the new PPE, but that doesn’t really explain the outdated nature of her cut. The style is circa 2010, to be honest. Tried to make it as flat as possible at a time when styles are obviously to give a bit of volume and bounce. I had to come straight home to wash it! But it still looks really ropey. She didn’t talk to me throughout and when she did it was just to moan about the current situation for hairdressers. No personal questions or nice chitchat.
The best thing about my haircut was the SUPER friendly and helpful receptionist. He has been really nice from booking through to payment. Thank you, James.

Under the circumstances this was a wonderful experience. PPE was available on entry to the salon and Carly greeted me for my colouring as her usual lovely self. Gillian was amazing again and I can’t recommend both Carly and Gillian highly enough for making This different experience as normal as possible. My thanks to all at Toni & Guy.

Carly and Gillian did absolutely everything possible to make my first cut and colour after the lockdown a safe and enjoyable experience. Their care, positivity and professionalism made my visit to the salon relaxed and stress free, and my cut and colour are both excellent as always. First visit to the salon since lockdown. Very impressed with the cleanliness . The staff all friendly and helpful. Wearing both face masks and shields which I haven’t seen anywhere before. Understand the reasons but did feel maybe a shield was enough and less intimidating than both.

On the first day of hair salon reopening, they took every sensible precaution.
I was given a mask gown and Leigh had both a mask and face shield. No worries at all, and it was lovely to get a proper hair cut after all this time!

It's always a nice experience to go to toni and guy Edinburgh staff always very pleasant atmosphere it was very quiet today as over lunch hence 4 for atmosphere would highly recommend this salon for a visit even for modelling
