Rebecca cut my hair today and she was so lovely. I’ve had my hair cut with her twice now and she’s done such an amazing job both times! I had quite a drastic cut and Rebecca was great at soothing my nerves. I will definitely be back!!

David is great, both in colour and hair cut. Yesterday I was very pressed for time due to other commitments. I asked him to help me, and he was like a magician. He worked so fast but with the same high quality of his work, and I managed to get where I had to be, on time. I was very impressed by his skills and ability to work under pressure. I am very grateful. I will recommend David any time. I always leave a salon in a happy mood, thanks to him.

I had a wonderful haircut after my first visit, perhaps I didn’t express clearly that it led to misunderstanding. I trust that Austin is a very good stylist and only tried to give my hair volume. Unfortunately it didn’t turn out nicely on me: it was a mullet style with a fringe that looks a bit old fashioned on me. Plus I didn’t say that I don’t prefer hair clay it felt too sticky. So the intentional ‘bird nest’ effect was disappointing. I still book the third visit and hope this less ideal outcome becomes a useful reference point. I look forward to seeing Austin and his colleagues including Eva again.

I am always transformed after a cut with Austin, I love the way he cuts my hair, over three years, I never been disappointed. Carly does a great job with my colour, all the staff are friendly and welcoming.

I went to get a hair trimming yesterday with one of the trainies, she was really polite and always made sure I was comfortable and informed with what she was doing to my hair, she did an incredible job and I'll definitely be back. This was my first time going to a salon to have my hair done and the staff were all so welcoming, the salon has a great atmosphere as well.

Just as I'd nearly surrendered my quest in the labyrinth of salons, I discovered Austin, a hairstyling maestro, who tames my wild mop with grace, perfect for someone like me who is directionless with hair.

I had yet another very satisfactory visit to the salon with excellent haircut and I appreciate the friendly and caring atmosphere

David listened to what I wanted and advised based on good understanding of my hair type. The finish was brilliant and I came away confident in how to style it at home.

I haven’t let anyone else cut my hair in 19 years. I have a type of alopecia that comes and goes but when it flares up and I feel self conscious about it, she makes me feel at ease and works wonders and makes me feel good about myself when I leave. We’ve gone from that surface level chit-chat to getting to know a good bit about one another and our wider lives over the years. I can’t recommend Gilliam highly enough. B.
