Since relocating I tried alternative nearer to home. However, disappointing results make the effort of returning to Charlie T Medusa, Bread Street, worth the effort. He is a perfectionist and works hard to ensure I get the results I want. Very easy to talk to.

It is always a joy to have your hair done by Kirsty. You can fully trust her to get the best out of you. She is a magician!!

Very good efficient service. Always guaranteed a great cut and blow dry despite sometimes my hair being a tricky customer.

The salon is gorgeous inside and feels bright and modern. Ciara did an incredible job on my hair and cut it perfectly! She was lovely and chatty for the whole time and even discussed with me how I'd like my hair finished, offered a few different options and took her time styling it after the cut was finished. Absolutely fantastic, I went in with my hair completely ruined with different colours from over bleaching, Kirsty has bought my hair back to life. Would highly recommend her, definitely my future hair salon.

I had a great time at the medusa salon in bread street, I can confidently say I finally found the perfect salon after years of trying different hairdressers around Edinburgh! The haircut is perfect, exactly what I was hoping for and my stylist was precise and professional and I am super happy I trusted her advice on the haircut. The salon is perfect, it's stylish, sparkling clean and bright, I'll definitely be back!

This Saturday I had my nails and my hair done and I am really impressed. I use this salon for an year now, (after was recommended by a friend who had a balaiage done by kirsty) and I am always happy to return. I won't ever go anywhere else. My hair was never in a better status. Kirsty's work is just wow each time xx

Love my cut. Everything I asked for and more. Really relaxing head massage and such friendly staff.

After box dying for a while I came in to get my roots covered and see if I could get lighter bits throughout. Thought it might be impossible considering how dark my hair is but Marishka was great at offering her advice and the options available - really happy with how it turned out!

Marnie is great at recommending what would suit me in terms of colour, cut and maintenance. The next day, I always get complimented for my new style.

After donating her hair to the Little Princess Trust (for which Medusa waived the cost of the haircut) Ellie (12) has been growing back her hair. Each time she goes to Medusa Colin treats her to great chat and a trendy haircut. She was especially pleased with today’s cut...uber cool and really suits her. Super friendly salon with award-winning stylists. I’m a total convert too - having seen Colin, Charlie and Sarah in recent weeks. Medusa- exactly what a salon should be. Friendly, Funky and Fabulous!

I love getting my hair done at Medusa Bread St. I had very bad experiences at other hairdressers in the past but Medusa is different to others. They take customer service very seriously and it shows in its staff. Kate not only does my hair; she offers advice on products snd hair care, and listens to my random conversation with a smile. I’d highly recommend her to anyone wanting their hair colour changed. A year ago my hair was her black and now it’s super blonde (and healthy!). Thanks, Kate!! X

The salon is immaculate and staff are lovely. The prices are quite high but the quality is definitely worth it. Kate always does exactly what I want and my hair looks great for longer.

I saw Sarah Wilson for the first time today. She really listened to what I was trying to achieve and came up with great suggestions. I love my new colour, it is very subtle and looks sun-kissed and natural. See you soon, Sarah.

p.s. I had only booked a ‘toner’ appointment and Sarah didn’t bat an eyelid at spending as much time as was required to get the look I wanted.

First time visit at Medusa and loved it. Hair looked fantastic and Kate was brilliant. Normally dread the hairdressers as I find it quite stressful but this was lovely and relaxing. Will be back!

Had nails done by Ingrid - absolutely fantastic! The nicest nails I’ve had in a long time and she doesn’t charge extra for foil effects. I will definitely be back. Reception service was great too.
