Really enjoyed my time in Medusa today with Bryany. I had a complete colour change after having dull hair with old balayage (not sure of spelling!). I'm so happy, she really helped me and I felt comfortable asking questions too. I've finally found my favourite salon!

My friend and I had our makeup done by Ingrid, she was recommended to me and we were visiting Edinburgh for Burns Night black tie do.. so glad we had our makeup and hair done here - the girls are friendly, talented and they juggled all our appointments so we could have everything done at the same time. My new fave Edinburgh salon!

Went to Kirsty after being recommended by my sister as I had an absolute hair disaster at another salon before Christmas. Kirsty managed to work miracles on my hair and I don’t think I’ve ever been as happy with my hair before. Definitely will be back :) would recommend & wouldn’t go elsewhere now

Absolutely delighted with colour and cut today - travel from Perthshire to come to this hairdressers every 6 weeks or so and its definitely worth it!

I first walked in to this salon with a lot of apprehension and my long curly unmanageable hair as I was planning to ‘experiment’ a new ‘short’ hair look which suits me. I walked out with a wide smile not just about my ‘new look’ but also about the chat I had with Kirsty who made me feel as though I knew her for years!! Loved every bit of it...thank you :-)

Ingrid was amazing today. Loved getting my make up trial done, she was very personable and professional! Can’t wait to have her on my big day!!

Had my hair done by Bryony and I love it! She completely listened to me and chatted away the whole time and I am so pleased with my hair. It was super affordable and the salon is so lovely as well.

Charlie once again did an excellent job with my cut and blow dry. He communicated with me very well to make sure he knew what I was looking for and made some small suggestions and asked me my opinion and gave advice. Much recommended.

Went in with a rough idea of what I wanted and I am so pleased with the results, they are even better than I imagined and Marishka is so talented and knew what would suit me in terms of colour and cut. I got a ballyage and couldn't be happier with my overall experience and the outcome! Best colour I have ever had and I will definitely be returning.

Just had the most amazing cut with Sarah. My hair is thin and lank and I told her to do what she wanted. I’ve left salon with the best cut I’ve ever had, she was so precise in cutting to ensure I had the best shape and her chat was great. Will definitely be going back

I always love coming to Medusa to get my hair done, it's such a relaxing experience. Everyone is always friendly and helpful. Kirsty my stylist is amazing and has transformed my hair today completely changing both style and colour and I couldn't be more pleased with the results.

Yesterday I had the privilege to meet Kirsty, the best hair specialist I've met. It's difficult to explain what what she did to my hair, as I find her work a piece of art, she doesn't dye your hair, she paints on it. She's amazing. A BIG thank you. I also need to add that I was impressed by the cleanliness as somebody was permanently tidying up.

I wanted my longer bob style into a shorter style, more like a pixie cut. Marnie made a lovely job of my hair and cut it in a way so that I can be flexible with how I style it myself. I love it! Marnie and all the other staff were very friendly and it was a nice atmosphere in the salon. Thank you!
