Took my 2.5-year-old daughter to Blooms Hairdressers and was so impressed with how patient, kind, and gentle the staff were. It was close to her bedtime, so she wasn’t in the best mood and really wasn’t having it but they never once made us feel uncomfortable or rushed. No judgemental looks or behaviour whatsoever (for an anxious parent like me that meant alot!) just calm, understanding support the whole time. Despite the chaos, they still managed to give her a lovely little haircut, and her hair looks so fresh and neat! Truly grateful for their warm and professional approach. What a lovely experience from day one when I just walked in and requested an appointment with a stylist without any research or recommendations. Best decision ever. The place is so clean, vibrant, friendly and inviting. My stylist Tally is an amazing and very professional young woman. She listened to me and all my hair worries, she went the extra mile to advise me ref hair products to use. I was made to feel welcomed from the first time I came into the salon. Tally did a strand test to make sure the colour would take affect first before going ahead with the full all over colour. During my appointment, Tally made sure I was happy with my colour choices before we started. When it came to the cut she made sure I was happy with the length and was happy to take a little more off when I asked. I visited Bloom Salon just over a week ago as a walk-in customer for a hair wash, as I was unable to wash my own hair due to an arm injury. The team were incredibly accommodating and managed to fit me in right away, which I was so grateful for.
From start to finish, the service was warm, professional, and welcoming. I was in great hands with Soph, who is currently part of Bloom’s Hair Academy. She was friendly, attentive, and did a fantastic job — I felt really looked after.
It’s clear that Bloom takes pride in nurturing new talent, and I was impressed to learn more about their Bloom Academy, which runs on Tuesdays and supports NVQ-qualified stylists as they refine their skills under the guidance of a training educator.
I would absolutely return to Bloom again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to others. A truly lovely experience.
