The House of Hair - Milton Keynes

The Salon always has a friendly atmosphere and due to Holly being unwell I was given the option to have Vanessa to do my hair and she put me at ease and spoke about my colour ideas and did a lovely colour and style on my hair. I wouldn’t go to any other salon.

I have come to House of Hair for a while now and I was also enjoying the service I was having today too. However I was very surprised when I went to the counter, just before leaving (my Uber was waiting outside and I was also in a hurry) and my stylist suddenly said she has charged me £10 extra because my hair was thicker than she expected. I wish she would have told me about this additional charge when she saw my hair, before cutting it. I probably won't have said no to the cut but I found it very sneaky and unprofessional of her to bring it up to me right when I was about to pay and leave. It would have also been alright for her to mention this when she was done with the cut, but not right when I was about to leave. A bit sad though because that has put me off from coming to the salon again.

Just love having my hair done at The House of Hair. Andrew has been doing my hair for four years and knows exactly what I like. My hair looked tired and warm this morning to now looking bright and in fantastic condition and feels great too. Great team and highly recommend

The service and stylist I couldn’t fault. Overall great customer service. Happy with the cut and hair when down, however, after leaving and showing friends & family I noticed myself that the blend underneath was poorly done especially when it’s up which I have often - half my head is blonde & half chocolate brown.. 2 tones which looks awful. Really knocked my confidence. Please cancel my appointment in December.

After disappointment with many local salons - I now love my hair. Andrew recommended a keratin blow dry which immediately calmed the dry, frizzy hair that I’d been struggling with. He colours it regularly and at my latest appointment we agreed that the style still looked good. I now love my hair. ? ?

She was very welcoming, she knew everything I didnt like about my hair from another salon and managed to get it exactly how I wanted it. I love the result of my hair and couldnt ask for better service from her.

I had Hayden, he was so lovely and did the peekaboo hairstyle that I wanted. The colour wasn’t exactly the same it ended up coming out much nicer and he kept making sure I was okay and happy with it!
