I was very excited to go from blonde to pastel purple. Before we started James ran through the procedure again. James continued to explain the processes as we went through the appointment. The end result was better than I dreamed a beautiful silvery purple shade that looks incredible. James is a magician!

James is a fantastic hairdresser and stylist. Every time I see him, he knows exactly what to do with my hair and I always come away feeling confident and happy. I look forward to coming back in January for my next visit! Thank you James.

Going to a new hair stylist is always really daunting but Lacey made me feel at ease from the moment we had our consultation. We talked through what I’d previously had and she gave her expert opinion. A week after I came in for my appointment, the salon itself is in a lovely location, it’s clean, open, bright and had a buzzing feel to it. The whole team were polite, helpful and made me feel at ease. The service by both Lacey and ‘little Lacey’ really made me feel confident and the results speak for themselves. Both Lacey’s engaged in conversation, talked through what they were doing and what was best for my hair type. 10/10 experience on all parts, service, quality and attention to detail.

I went in for a full colour today, and while my hair was being blow-dried, I messaged my partner to say that I was starting to well up! Because I was actually going to walk out of a hairdresser happy! That hasn’t happened for me in such a long time.
In the 16 years I’ve lived in MK, I haven’t found a single place I’ve consistently enjoyed going to, where they’ve given me exactly what I asked for without trying to persuade me otherwise. Ella was attentive and l just felt comfortable from the beginning asking for what I wanted.

I got my hair done by Marius today and I absolutely love it! He really knows what he’s doing — super friendly, professional, and made me feel so comfortable. Definitely recommend!

I had a lovely appointment with Katie yesterday! I’ve been a longstanding client of Katie’s but as a new mum I appreciated yesterday’s appointment more than I have before! It was so lovely to have some time to myself and to enjoy getting pampered in the lovely new salon in Milton Keynes. Katie knows exactly what I want each time, and this time ensured we got everything done in a shorter appointment to enable me to get back to our new baby more quickly. Thank you so much! X

Lovely cut & finish, highly recommend Lacey just what I wanted.

Always such a treat to be welcomed at the house of hair, but coming to The Barn is something else! The attention to detail from the welcome reception, lighting, music, delicious coffee … makes having your hair done feel like a wonderful treat every time.

I bought my sister who was visiting from the states to my appointment and she had a treatment alongside mine. Staff could not have made her feel more welcome.

Done a good job sorting out my colour today.

Ella was lovely and it was a nice experience but I walked out the salon with completely the opposite of what I asked for. I wanted a warm golden balayage and I’ve walked out with really ashy highlights. I did express that it wasn’t what I wanted but she said it warm up after a couple of washes - but I don’t understand how it will go to the golden colour just through washing and after one wash if anything it feels lighter. I don’t ever like to complain but I feel like I’ve paid a lot of money for something that I’m now having to go elsewhere to get fixed as I will not be in the area within the 2 weeks to get the free corrective toner

I was greeted with a smile and eye contact by a welcoming young man as soon as I entered the. Felt at ease straightaway.
Had a consultation with Lacey about cutting my hair shorter. I was anxious due to thining hair due to menopause. We discussed lots of options. Lacey was patient, kind and understanding. I didn't feel rushed and the whole experience was great! Have booked an appt next week.

Andrew was very knowledgeable and patient explaining processes and options in a really user friendly way. I left feeling informed, not pressured and excited for my upcoming fitting!

From the moment I step into the House of Hair to the moment I leave, I feel nothing but warmth comfort and friendship. The atmosphere is always welcoming, and the service is consistently outstanding. Every visit leaves me feeling pampered and confident. My hair It absolutely glows. Andrew works magic every single time. I can always count on him to make my hair look amazing, Thank you!

The new premises has a lovely feel about it. It's located in a stone barn. It is located just off a narrow country road. Ella listened to what I wanted done style wise and how difficult my hair can be to take colour. I was very pleased with outcome and price and a great pamper. All good but only 1 negetive to mention that wash/shampoo area is up some stairs which is fine for me but some might have difficulty with climbing stairs. I will be a regular. Staff are polite and friendly.

I’ve been to so many salons around London and Milton Keynes, even tried a few of those “famous” Instagram hairdressers, but honestly, Andrew nailed it! 🙌 He just gets it ; the cut, the finish, everything was spot on. On top of that, his personal touch, humour, and little life stories made the whole experience so much more enjoyable. Can’t recommend him enough!

I was transferred with Marius as my usual hairdresser had left, wasn’t an issue. Marius was great and loved my hair. I was asked for a hot drink and Marius told who I assume was the apprentice and never got my hot drink.

She knows exactly what she’s doing, she gets it right everytime!! Wouldn’t go to anyone else now!
