Established over 30 years ago by Lauren Turner, this sustainable and environmentally friendly salon offers a relaxed, warm and friendly ambience that creates a fabulous atmosphere where clients are treated to a 5 star service.

The team are trained to the highest standards in all aspects of hairdressing and enjoy regular courses to keep their skills updated, on trend and innovative. That’s why the salon has won numerous British Hairdressing Awards, an accolade to all our amazing clients, and a credit to the hard work that this team consistently put forward. I have been going to Spirit Hair Company regularly for many years now, and every time is a lovely experience. The stylists, especially Livvy, listen to what I want, I trust the advice they give me, and I always leave with a beautiful haircut and colour. All of the staff are friendly, helpful and make you feel special. I would never go anywhere else.

The whole experience at spirit today was absolutely fabulous!! After such a busy week it was just what I needed and so relaxing! A lovely hair wash, perfect cut by Serena just the way I wanted and the blow dry and styling from Piper was excellent. Thank you so much for such a lovely time! A lovely friendly, warm welcoming professional salon with a highly skilled team of the most lovely hairdressers I’ve ever met. The quality of cut and colour is very impressive and nothing compares, it genuinely is a cut above the rest. They cannot be more helpful or accommodating. Love all the little extra/luxury touches for customers which make it an even more enjoyable experience. Always love my hair. Huge credit to Lauren and she has a fantastic team.

Relaxing evening with a wonderful atmosphere. Staff are very attentive making sure you feel comfortable, cleaning all the time also ensuring you have water, coffee etc. Lauren takes her time with every client making everyone feel special. Her cutting skills are first class plus I have never had such care taken with the wonderful array of colours that she manages to skillfully assemble on my beautifully cut and blow dried hair. I always feel like a million dollars when I leave the Salon. Last but not least I have to mention the good head massage which is given by the young trainees when they wash your hair. I cannot imagine attending another Salon now as I just feel so pampered basically like one of the family. Thank you everyone xx

I've been going to Spirit Hair for 32 years (since it opened!) .....won't go anywhere else!!

Lauren does a great job in keeping me blonde (my natural blonde is getting progressively darker which doesn't phase Lauren, she just recalculates the colour she uses!) and my hair always looks and feels great after a visit.

The salon's advice and guidance on suitable products for my hair has now enabled me to have stronger, longer hair that I've always wanted!!

Very professional, progressive salon, with outstanding staff training and relaxed atmosphere.....I always feel pampered after a visit!

Not my best experience, had to wait 15min wasn't even offered a drink while I waited, or an apology No doubt Liz was running late but she still had time to check the previous customer out, though when it came to my check out I was handed over to one of the juniors who was unable to offer me a suitable time for my next 2 appointments. I also wasn't as pleased with my cut this time, maybe because of running late. The cost has really gone up, and will increase again next time. I don't feel valued customer any more. Will have to either look somewhere else or increase the time between my cuts to be able to afford it
