Established over 30 years ago by Lauren Turner, this sustainable and environmentally friendly salon offers a relaxed, warm and friendly ambience that creates a fabulous atmosphere where clients are treated to a 5 star service.

The team are trained to the highest standards in all aspects of hairdressing and enjoy regular courses to keep their skills updated, on trend and innovative. That’s why the salon has won numerous British Hairdressing Awards, an accolade to all our amazing clients, and a credit to the hard work that this team consistently put forward. After a few childhood haircuts that truly scarred me, I never thought I’d find a salon where I could genuinely relax and feel comfortable — let alone leave with the best hair I’ve ever had. Spirit Hair has completely changed that for me.

From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is serene, welcoming, and calming. Every single staff member is absolutely lovely — beyond kind, helpful, and incredibly knowledgeable. They go above and beyond to make sure you feel heard, understood, and confident that your hair dreams are in the best possible hands.

Over the past year, I’ve seen Livvy each time, and every visit feels like catching up with an old friend. It honestly feels like I’ve been coming here far longer than a year. Her passion and enthusiasm for what she does are truly contagious. She listens so carefully to everything I say and somehow delivers results that exceed my expectations every single time. I leave just as happy — if not happier — than I did after my very first visit.

If you’re looking for amazing hair, a wonderful experience, and a team that genuinely values you, I couldn’t recommend Spirit Hair more.

Always a pleasure to come to this lovely friendly salon but today was extra special… one of the girls had a birthday cake presented to her and we all sang happy birthday! Very busy today in the lead up to Christmas but no one was stressed or impatient, quite a buzz, great individual attention as per usual. Greeted by three smiling faces at reception - a wonderful welcome. My (3) colours just how I wanted them, artistically woven through my hair by The lovely Serena. Great staff, great ideas!

I stand by that. You simply cannot find a better place. Not only do they fully engage with your needs and worries about your hair. Especially for a first date or when it's changing due to age. But they also are all complete lovely women. Never say a bad word which makes the atmosphere in the place relaxed, warm, chatty and gorgeous. Plus the hair dying and cutting is epic

As always, first class service from being greeted like one of the family from the friendly and professional staff who are always well turned out. The salon is always spotless with great coffee and biscuits on hand. Lauren, many thanks for the great cut and for the most amazing colours this time of copper, yellow, and underneath the most gorgeous mix of red which you created; it made the overall look very autominal and vibrant. I can't wait for my next appointment. Imogen well done for giving me a lovely hair wash and superb head massage. As far as I am concerned Spirit is the best salon for miles around.
