Established over 30 years ago by Lauren Turner, this sustainable and environmentally friendly salon offers a relaxed, warm and friendly ambience that creates a fabulous atmosphere where clients are treated to a 5 star service.

The team are trained to the highest standards in all aspects of hairdressing and enjoy regular courses to keep their skills updated, on trend and innovative. That’s why the salon has won numerous British Hairdressing Awards, an accolade to all our amazing clients, and a credit to the hard work that this team consistently put forward. I went in with a rough idea of what I wanted, and Sofia made it happen perfectly. She talked me through what she planned with the cut, gave great recommendations, and always checked in to get my opinion throughout. She was more than happy to go back and make pieces shorter until I was completely happy with the result. I left very pleased and have already booked my next appointment :)

I’ve always found it difficult to get my son’s hair cut without tears or upset… tried so many barbers and hairdressers (he has long hair). I came for my own haircut and was encouraged to bring him in so I did - and he enjoyed the best haircut experience he ever had. Piper is so good with him, does a fantastic job - he loves the place. Told me the other day he’s going to go there for the rest of his life! Amazing job by Piper on winning him over with an amazing experience, and also for the great haircuts (both his and mine). Couldn’t recommend more.

Always enjoy my haircut experience with Liz. She knows exactly how I want my hair done. She never try to push products on me. I feel that after many years with her we know each other quite well.
Generally I do feel there is no need to make customers wash the hands before treatment nor using the boxes for the coats

I’ve been coming to Spirit ever since I moved down from Lincolnshire 3 years ago and Serena is fantastic! Never one to shy away from a challenge, she’s put up with me changing my hairstyle probably more often than I change my pants (joking!). She’s always leant in to whatever random direction I’ve decided to take my hair and she’s seen me through from super short bleach blonde to a graduated copper bob! I always leave loving my hair! I love coming to spirit. It’s such a friendly relaxing environment and every one of the girls are all outstanding.

Oh my! Where do I start....its hard to find the words to describe how I feel about my new hair!! It's the hair I've always wanted and is just perfect! Livvy did a full head of highlights and turned me back to 'Spring blonde'....perfect colour! Then, the transformation continued with a few hair extensions....perfect colour match, perfect fitting and blending and perfect length! My hair is now back to full thickness with the length I've always wanted!! As I said PERFECT!!! Livvy truely deserves her Colour Master title and is a true creative artist! I trust her with my hair implicitly! She delivers a professional AND personal service. She patiently answered all my questions prior to deciding on extensions, so I was completely happy to proceed. After fitting, I got help with how to wash and style my new hair .... so I now truly, do have the perfect hair (that looks soooo natural) that I've always wanted! I can't recommend Livvy or Spirit Hair enough!!! It's a HUGE thank you from me!! 😊

First haircut since before Covid and chopping it myself! I am over the moon with my experience at Spirit, Piper did an amazing job sorting my hair out and I now have a style! I had a lovely experience with Sofia she was very kind, happy and welcoming from first meeting. She really listened to my ideas and what we could do with my hair, am very happy with her work and she was very kind to make sure I had refreshments. I called the salon on Saturday in absolute tears as I wasn’t happy with my hair that had been done by an other hairdresser and my wedding was less than 2 weeks away. Livvy answered the phone and she was the most calming person and told me not to worry and come up in the afternoon to have a look. I went up and the team were very accommodating and sensitive of my situation. They suggested what would need doing and I was in their safe hands. I came today (Thursday) and had the ‘Holy Grail’ treatment and what I call “sort it out” hair cut. I’ve got a smile on my face again and I feel confident to walk down the aisle next week! Thank you to all the staff 💜
