About us

Established over 30 years ago by Lauren Turner, this sustainable and environmentally friendly salon offers a relaxed, warm and friendly ambience that creates a fabulous atmosphere where clients are treated to a 5 star service.

The team are trained to the highest standards in all aspects of hairdressing and enjoy regular courses to keep their skills updated, on trend and innovative. That’s why the salon has won numerous British Hairdressing Awards, an accolade to all our amazing clients, and a credit to the hard work that this team consistently put forward. We continue to strive for the best service possible and hope you can see how we enjoy making our clients feel extra special!

What a find! This salon is a 'gem'. Generally I don't like going to a hairdresser as the results are underwhelming, but Lauren and Lucy were fantastic. My hair was a progressive style and colour, and after two visits, what a result! I am so happy! I felt at ease and the salon has a great atmosphere, unlike generic salons! Without hesitation I would highly recommend a visit 😁

The lovely Sofia transformed my hair… Sofia listened to exactly what I wanted and took the time to understand my hair type and the colour I wanted to achieve - she was able to make it look and feel incredible and I can’t wait to come to the salon again for a refresh when needed!

Another amazing session with Piper. I have long hair and she does a fantastic job with my colour and foils, and her blowdry/styling is second to none. I always feel special and pampered when I leave there. They even accommodated my fiancé today as we made a day of it (we live in Hampshire and I’m more than happy to drive to Spirit in Downley, Bucks!). Great team and quality, personal experience!

Liz has done my hair for quite a time and she always listens to what I want, gives me sound advice and always achieves excellent results. I have wanted to have highlights in my hair but I am very allergic to hair dye. However, we have managed this by having some highlights. At first, they were very bright, but Liz has worked with the dyes to tone them down and now they are great! Although they are always busy, they make sure the client comes first.

The most professional hair salon i have ever been to (trust me i have tried serveral). Nicest staff and excellent service. Just looove the multi- coloured highlights and cut.
Lovely friendly atmosphere. Modern decor with strict attention to cleanliness. My hair was in a terrible state due to medication, but Gold products immediately restored hair health. Hair colour lasts well and really reasonable prices.

I've been going to the salon for nearly a year now and each time has been a joy. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the staff are friendly and the salon is very clean. The staff are all very knowledgeable and give excellent advice about style and colour but always listen to what the customer wants and delivers beautifully. I went there to get a colour correction after a bit of a disaster with another salon. They were able to sort the problem out and return my hair to its former glory and with a wonderful colour. I would highly recommend this salon for the friendliness, professionalism and sheer pleasure of going.
