I popped in on the off chance of a quick fringe trim and had an appointment with Vikki within 15 mins. She had recently cut my hair, first cut since 2019, and she was friendly and very proficient. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. Thank you Vikki!

This was my first time in HOB Salons and I can confidently say that it has been my best hair salon experience! I love the final look and feel so fresh and it has made me so happy- especially during a stressful time, full of exams. From booking the appointment to the actual cut, the HOB Salons' team made sure that I felt safe and comfortable voicing my desired look. Vikki was absolutely incredible! She was very professional and confident with every cut she made. But what really stuck with me was how accommodating and friendly she was; I felt as though I was talking with a friend! With each step she took, she asked for my opinion and guided me through the whole process, answering every question I had with patience. The moment I walked into the salon (I'll admit that I was a little nervous), she immediately welcomed me and all my anxiety was gone. I thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience and I am eternally grateful to Vikki as well as the whole HOB Salons for that :)

Laura was patient colouring my hair, making sure I was happy with the final result and willing to make changes for me. Having very dark hair, this was my first time going much lighter but she made sure that the highlights were well blended and made my experience really enjoyable.

I had my hair cut by Holly who took my lockdown locks, tidied up my hair and made it feel super soft and shiny. She was lovely to talk to and was extremely helpful when I asked about highlights. I also had an appointment with Laura who again is a great asset to your store. I love my highlights and will be making appointments to see both Holly and Laura again.

I was attended to by both Maria and Aime. The service was friendly, efficient and a positive experience.

Only been to Maria twice. Was very nervous. She’s unbelievably knowledgeable- honest - friendly - fun to chat to and gave me excellent. Advice. Cannot recommend Maria highly enough. Won’t be going back to Daniel Galvin any time soon !!

Vikki has cut my hair now for a couple of years as I used to go into London as I didn’t trust local salons (??). More fool me. Vikki cuts my hair better than Daniel Galvin ever did - she’s super friendly - professional - and a perfectionist !! I have a short Bob which isn’t easy to perfect - but she does her magic every visit !!

Vikki has been cutting my hair for few years now she always does a lovely job and yesterday was no exception, I was out with friends later and got many compliments on my hair. Thanks Vikki!

Been coming to His for the past 14 yearssince they opened in Rickmansworth. I now have the owner, Mei so I follow her to which ever saloon she us that day., Grerrards Cross or Amersham. She's amazing. All the staff are friendly & I look forward to my weekly visit.

I just had possibly the worst haircuts of my life at your salon today. After showing a picture of king layers around my face, I was given layers all over my head to give it more “texture” which I did not ask for nor appreciate. It will take ages for it to grown out. After months for waiting for a haircut , I left nearly in tears and hair hidden in a ponytail. I told the stylist I didn’t like it but he told me he did that on purpose! Layers around a face are not layers all over a head! I feel awful and so disappointed. I certainly won’t be back!

It was my first time coming to Hobs, all the staff are very friendly, accommodating and very welcoming. My stylist Holly is really great, she understood what I wanted to be done to my very long hair that needed a revamp. I am very pleased with the outcome of my cut and will definite come back. Faultless experience...

My stylist and colourist Nick went above and beyond today. Following a lot of root growth in lockdown, my blonde hair desperately needed a brighten up and lighter feel to it. Nick offered his vision and expertise and suggested that working around the natural root would be the best way to reach my desired look - I was somewhat hesitant, but felt very confident and safe with Nick’s sound advice and proficiency. WOW... I am so glad I put my faith in him, the finished look was exactly as desired, if not greater. Not only was Nick a professional... he was patient (which is important to me), welcoming and great to chat with. It was my first salon experience and it truly felt like a 5 star service. The wider team were also incredibly welcoming, covid - safe, polite and friendly. The salon was very clean, vibrant and overall had a great vibe which mirrored a great team. I left the salon feeling great, I’ll no doubt be returning. Thank you all!!!!

He was excellent hairdresser who gave me exactly what I wanted. Not only that but he went out of his way to make sure I was happy and comfortable in the salon. He was so friendly and professional and made the whole experience amazing. I will definitely be coming back here for all my hair needs.

Holly did a great cut. But I booked in for a full head colour and when I arrived I was told there was not enough time to do I full head so we had to make do with what you made available. When it was book I called back to double check the time and what we Booked in and the receptionist confirmed it was a full head.

My first visit to Aime and Maria now Jen is on maternity leave. Both were fabulous- my colour is excellent and the cut/styling is A-MAY-ZING. Thank you both so much for maki g my transition to so done new totally seamless! ❣

I can’t just say one individuals name as when I went in for my consultation everyone from the receptionists to the stylists were so welcoming.

My stylist was called Maria , always good and professional made me feel safe. The lady at the reception was uninterested didn’t welcome or speak told me to drop my coat on the floor next to my station which I felt was poor . The hygiene was as good as expected but am still paying for PPE when none of my friends are paying their hairdressers for that. Then when I payed the same receptionist was really poor didn’t seem to know what she was doing and I actually went back in to find out how much my hair cost me . First time ever I’ve had a real problem with Hobbs and felt as a good customer couldn’t wait to get out !!

Brilliant experience. Very friendly staff, Holly did a great job. I was very pleased and would highly recommend this salon.
