From the receptionist to shampoo girl and finally to stylist I was treated awesome and have already made another appointment

As ever all the staff are helpful polite and make you feel very welcome. My stylist Nicole is attentive professional and always seems so genuinely pleased to see me. Nicole is super as is Daisy who looks after my colour. Great team .. my partner and myself wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Ross is the best colorist in Bristol!

Generally the hairdressers could talk to clients more and continue conversation as that is part of the experience

I had a scalp bleach done and it looks incredible! We ran out of time to finish my bleach so the wonderful Ross let me come in the next day to finish it off as he knew he could push the colour further and I couldn't be happier with the results. While a tad pricey compared to a bog standard highstreet hairdressers, the service and treatment you get is well worth the money, I would highly recommend!

I was given an appointment on the same day.Emily shampoos and conditioned my hair and included a very good head massage to condition my hair...buy it also relaxed me as I am nervous in these situations.
Jade introduced herself and we discussed the upkeep of the styling I had 6-8 weeks before.Also Jade showed me how to keep the style and arranged for an appointment system to remind me .

My hair’s been pretty long for a pretty long time. Stylist Fern (hope I remembered right!) checked over what I was going for- I don’t always know (!) & gave me a great cut- it’s quite a change & i’m loving it.

I always get my colour done with Louise. She is so thorough and genuinely cares about the condition of your hair. I always leave feeling and looking like a million dollars (if I do say so myself!) Rosie is amazing at cutting my very thick long hair, which in previous experience from other salons has been difficult to achieve. I will never go anywhere else...and surprisingly the prices aren’t as high as you’d expect from such a well known salon.

Although the salon was really busy (a Friday), service was not at all compromised. I had Bailey for my colour which was perfect and I can not recommend Rosie enough for a cut, I have been to other salons and they are no where near the standard of this one.

Had a fabulous hair cut and blow dry as always with Rosie 8th Feb . I learnt of her wonderful news and will miss her terribly, for in my life she has been the best hairdresser I have ever had. I love going to Toni&Guy salons. It seems like the haircuts I’ve been given at these salons always look classy and not over the top. It’s the first time I’ve been to the Bristol one and I’m not disappointed. The stylist listened carefully to what I was looking for and suggested her solutions. My hair looked like from a Pinterest picture. Now, the day after, you can still see how well my hair is cut and it seems to put itself in the shape assumed by the stylist.

Simply put these Guys tick all the boxes. Great service, superb staff, can deal with my difficult hair and I always leave happy and smiling. Think I have used them every 6/8 weeks for about 18 years now, cannot fault them.

Not happy !! Not the shape I wanted , I’m a hairdresser myself and I was dissatisfied, even though she said that Toni &Guy cut differently !! No excuse , what like a refund credited back to my account please as now I will have to get it sorted out when I’m back to my own salon in London

My hair is long and greying. I just have a wash cut and blowdry.
They grade price rates according to experience.
The cheapest .. did a great job.
I enjoy the experience and that they have never tried to persuade me to use colour or change style.

I used to go to another branch of T&G to have natural looking, dark blond highlights put into my light brown hair - this was always done without using bleach, and I was very happy with the results and condition of my hair. Having moved to Bristol, I made an appointment at the Bristol branch, and assumed that the same procedure would be carried out as before.

Unfortunately, the technician decided to completely strip the colour from the highlighted hair, before attempting to dye it back in with a toner. The results were almost bleach-blond and decidedly un-natural looking, so I went back for a second application of toner, which had a similar result. Finally a senior technician dyed my hair back to its natural colour. A few days later, my hair started to break off in clumps. After a week or so, it became evident that all the highlighted hair was breaking off.

To be fair, the salon responded reasonably well, with free conditioning treatments and a cut to get rid of some of there damage, as well as my money back. However, I'm left with only a couple of inches of hair on the t-section, my previously shoulder-length hair has had to be chopped into a jaw-length bob, and the rest of my hair is in terrible condition, with not a lot that can be done other than wait for it to grow back.

For this reason I would advise potential customers to be very wary when considering having their hair coloured here.

She did a great job, took her time to make sure that I was happy with the result and chatted throughout.

I had my highlights done and I am really happy with the colour. Just what I asked for, thank you. I was slightly disappointed with the service following my hair wash. The salon was busy and it took a bit of time to find someone to blowdry my hair. When the assistant was found, although perfectly friendly directly to me, she was completely disinterested in the blowdry and kept calling over to another assistant to find someone to help. I was left feeling really uncomfortable like I was a burden. I did not enjoy having a blowdry by someone who took no pride in it and who barely even looked at my hair whilst she dried it. This tainted my overall experience. I work in customer service myself and you should always make the customer feel special. Unfortunately I did not.

The hair care service was good and the Stylist responded to my preferences. The hairdo survived the walk home in the drizzly weather.

The visit would have been improved if the Receptionist had taken my dripping raincoat and hung it up.

I’m quite upset by my last haircut. I showed my hairdresser a photo of exactly what I wanted. I had hair long enough and I left with an old fashioned mess.
It’s so different from what I wanted, what I showed my ‘stylist’. The worse thing is that it isn’t even very nice. It’s a bad haircut.
I’m devastated and won’t be coming back.

devastating when you go to the salon pay £182 ask for light gray ombré and come out looking like a black die gone wrong! Terrible service at Bristol salon took my money and told me to wash my hair a few times to lighten up! Blisters on my scalp! Terrible experience
