Established in 1971 by Dutch born Herman Koster, Hermans is dedicated to unparalleled customer service & exceptionally high standards of hairdressing. Yet we believe that great hairdressing needn’t cost the earth. Hermans has been delivering friendly, personal, skilful service for 50 years. Continuing to deliver a high level of service to our fabulous clientele, for all this time, is a credit to the fantastic team.

We deliver affordable luxury, so that our clients leave the salon looking & feeling fabulous.

We use only the very best brands in our salons – Wella, Natulique (Organic Colour), Kerastase, Olaplex, Moroccan Oil, and GHD and ensure all our staff are well versed & well trained in the very latest colouring and cutting techniques. You will get the very best of skill and service when you visit our salons.

I recently brought my daughter in for a haircut and she absolutely loved it! Kathy, the hairdresser, made her feel so special — she even got a girly magazine, which delighted her. The haircut looked lovely, but once we got home, we noticed the ends were a little uneven. We returned the next day and Kathy was fantastic — so kind and professional, and she fixed it without any fuss.

The only downside to our experience was the receptionist. When Kathy brought my daughter to the seat, the receptionist was staring at her hair in a way that made me feel quite uncomfortable. At the end, I said thank you but didn’t get any response, which felt a bit cold. A small smile or friendly gesture would really make a difference in how welcoming the place feels.

Overall, we’re very happy with Kathy and the haircut, and I’d recommend her — just wish the front desk felt a bit warmer.
