Salon is very bright and clean, staff are very friendly, and they deal with the Covid sanitisation very well. My stylist always listens to me, and cuts my hair perfectly. I highly recommend this salon.

Great first experience of a hair cut. Very reassured by the way it looks /feels and communication throughout. I found difficult to explain exactly what I wanted but Lizzie managed to get there anyway

I was very nervous about going to a new hairdresser, but Lindsey was simply amazing. She made me feel so welcome, and she is so technically talented! The most brilliant blend of professionalism and making you feel like you’re chatting to an old friend. Will easily be back for another appointment, after a fantastic haircut!

I was in town on business and my hair desperately needed a cut. Avant Garde was recommended by receptionist at hotel. Sammy L. was great, chatty, friendly and the cut is fab. My only complaint - the salon is too far away from home!! If I was local, I would certainly be back and Sammy would be my stylist.

Sammy … what can I say. I came to salon with virtually a full head of blonde, dry, brittle hair and was looking to go brunette. Sammy listened to my needs and delivered… colour amazing, completely smashed it! A good cut and my hair is glossy, shiny and fresh! Thank you, see you in 8 weeks!!

Big hair colour change (in 9 years) this morning with Kate. She’s v knowledgable & explained what she would be doing and what it means going forward etc. I couldn’t be happier with my hair and Kate did an absolute 10/10 job ?

Kate’s an amazing hairdresser but also she’s so chatty, friendly and personable, there’s a reason I’ve had her for 5+ years and have been coming to Avant Garde for the past 13/14 years! Always an excellent service, all staff are friendly and you have great coffee!

I just love my hair! I'm so pleased I found Sammy. She understands what I want, even when I'm not 100% sure myself, or not 100% clear with instructions. I'm one of those fussy blondes and she just gets my hair, understands the tone I want and how to achieve it. Highly recommend her xx

Perfect as always

I came in today for something different as I seem to be going back to my youth with experimenting with my hair as I never did when I was a teen! I got home and cried! I am so over the moon with my new hair! Thank you Lizzie! You are amazing and I feel amazing!
