I have enjoyed experiencing three hair cuts at the Saks hair salon in Leeds on Vicar Lane., One was with Carmel and two were with Victoria, as Carmel is no longer there.
Both Stylist's are excellent and lovely people.
The shape of my cut lasted and still looked good, eight to ten weeks later.
I am able to maintain the style with minimum products, which pleases me and I I do enjoy the experience of going to the Salon.
My previous hairdresser and friend of thirty years + was very good and had passed away, but I know he would have been impressed with the cuts and shaping that Victoria and Carmel created to suit my hair, face and age.
Thank you both for your talent and skill and being able to enjoy a lovely and uplifting experience.
The Salon is well run, clean and the staff very welcoming.

I lost my hairdresser and friend of thirty years and I think he would be very pleased and impressed with both Victoria, and Carmel who cut my hair previously.

I booked a last-minute appointment with Greta and honestly couldn’t have been happier with my experience. From the moment I arrived, she put me completely at ease.

I really struggle with trusting people with my hair because, for me, it’s my security blanket and something I can be very protective over. Greta listened to exactly what I wanted, never judged me or made me feel silly, and made me feel comfortable throughout.

She was absolutely amazing from start to finish, and I left feeling so much more confident and happy with my hair. I’m genuinely so glad I took the chance and booked with her.

I can’t wait to trust her with my colour in November! ❤️

Wonderful & relaxing

Best haircut I’ve had in ages! Emma got the brief and her attention to detail was great. A previous client had overrun so a colleague helped her with my blow dry so my appointment didn’t overrun too much. Emma was so lovely and chatty, I’ll definitely be back.

An altogether enjoyable experience - Greta did a great job of cutting my hair and was really interesting to chat to.

Victoria was so lovely, took the time to understand what I wanted and repeatedly checked to make sure I was happy with each stage. Would definitely recommend and will be back!

Lovely relaxing gel manicure by Sharon. Only booked yesterday as a last minute treat, so glad could be fitted in. Calm professional manner, suggested an alternative colour when my favourite wasn't in stock, that I am very happy with. No issues, will be back !

Whole service was really good, just didn’t get anything like what i asked for. I was told at the beginning some adjustments to what i wanted would have to be made, which is okay, but it came out being far too short and nothing like what I wanted.

My service started with me being told that I “have been contacted by the salon as my two services now couldn’t be done by the same person” this was fine however I had not been contacted, and this later resulted in an extra charge after paying for what I thought was my entire bill when I booked.

I booked face framing highlights which I have never had before- however the stylist asked very little questions, I explained I wanted it blonde and that it wasn’t just “two pieces” stuck at the front so she suggested some around the side and back of my hair too which sounded great so I agreed. Because of the foils I had no idea how much of my hair was blonde etc as you cannot see however there was no check once during the foils to ensure I was happy with the coverage or the amount that had been dyed? Not sure if this is common to ask or not.

After about 50 mins I was asked what toner I wanted- I had no idea there were options as I had never done this before, but my stylist asked if I wanted it “creamy or ashy” and ashy sounded negative to me to I very nervously said creamy, but again there was no check or at least making sure I understood the options.

The stylists then swapped and Greta was great, she asked lots of questions during the tone and wash and gave me a great cut. When she began cutting however my hair looked no different than before and I hoped that once dried the blonde would come through, but even after the cut and style I could see very little change in the front of my hair. I wasn’t even shown the back of my hair or asked if it was okay before leaving. I politely mentioned that I had paid when booking to be met with the fact that I owed an extra £13- I presume the stylist cutting my hair was more expensive than the one I initially booked- I didn’t feel like I could question this as the stylist was already on the phone to someone else.

Victoria did an excellent cut for me,I was dubious as my usual hairdresser had left. However I needed not to worry as I will be happy to visit Saks and Victoria regularly.

I came in for a wash cut and blow dry as i was feeling a bit drab! Shannon was lovely and talked me through each step and after we finished I left with the most loveliest bouncy blow dry. Thank you!

As I suffer with anxiety going to a new hairdresser is very hard for me, but I needn’t have worried, Victoria put me at ease straight away. Very friendly. Listened to me and I am very happy. In fact I have booked another appointment

My first visit to Saks Leeds salon and I was not disappointed. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, my stylist Greta specialised in shorter hair cuts which is why I chose her when booking my appointment online. She listened intently to what I wanted and delivered a perfect haircut - my husband said it was the best I had had in ages! Which is a big compliment, believe me. I will definitely be calling in again soon.

First time at the salon Victoria was amazing.

What an amazing experience my 4yo had today! It was her first haircut and the staff took care of her gently and patiently. I forgot to take her name unfortunately but I highly commend their service. My daughter won’t be scared to go to a salon because she had an amazing experience!

I went to saks leeds city center for the 1st time to get my hair cut ftom start to finish it was amazing and welcoming my stylist was friendly and informative the salon was beautiful presrnted giving an air of tranqquilty and to top it off i came away with the hair cut i wanted. Thankyou x

This is the first time my daughter has actually enjoyed a haircut and felt amazing afterwards. Emma is kind, patient and knows exactly what she’s doing - and possibly most importantly, I think she’s gained a very loyal customer.

Sharon is absolutely amazing and professional! She always checks that I’m comfortable and is very friendly and chatty. Having electrolysis done is the best decision I’ve ever made and I’m already seeing the results. I wouldn’t go anywhere for my electrolysis.

Very nice experience

This was my second visit in a number of weeks for body wax with Sharon...This time round was chest and abdomen...I got a last minute slot on treatwell and as in both appointments it was a great experience...Sharon is clearly very experienced and polite puts you at ease and gets through the wax quickly...This helps you forget about the spots that give you a bit of pain...There is always a great relaxed atmosphere on entry and great staff welcome with very clean premises on top of a great and prompt wax experience with Sharon leaving feeling good and an all round great feel and experience
