I have to say, Jeremy is an exceptional stylist. He always displays an incredible amount of patience and is extremely meticulous when it comes to my haircuts. I trust him implicitly when it comes to maintaining the consistency of my style, and I love that he's always open to a bit of experimentation now and then. The conversations we have during my appointments are always enjoyable too. Overall, I would highly recommend Jeremy to anyone looking for a skilled and personable stylist.

It's nice to go somewhere where the stylist "understands " your hair and can advise you more accurately because of this.The salon is friendly and makes me feel comfortable. I've been a customer for over ,20 years and would not think of going anywhere else

Ellie was really nice and friendly as were all the staff I encountered at the salon. We talked about what I wanted in terms of colour and style. Ellie was very well versed in colour choices and I wanted specific colours and we discussed the best way of using the colours. Ellies foils technique was excellent. I also wanted a particular style of cut. Again Ellie listened to my needs and carried out my wishes professionally. She is a very patient stylist who listens to her client and also advises well.
I was very pleased with the cut and colour. Its difficult for a new client to explain to the hairdresser what they require if they don't know all the hairdressing terms and techniques! However Ellie understands what her client is trying to say! All in all a good experience. Ellie even got me a cushion for my sore back and elevated the chair when hair washing. That was very much appreciated. I will contact Ellie in the future to style and colour ny hair! Thankyuu Ellie x

A busy salon but I was lucky to get the last minute online appt at a time that suited my schedule. Had a retouch, wash n cut done by the lovely young stylist Tasha who did an amazing job with my hair. You know it's a good hair day when you receive compliments for it the day after! Looking forward to going back for my next good hair day...thanks Tasha I'm switching from my reg hairdresser to you!

Ellie always does a great job with my hair. I love coming to this salon because everyone is so friendly and make you feel welcome. I’ve been coming here for at least 14 years now and it just gets better.

Richard has been doing my hair for many years so knows my hair well. Coming to the salon for a cut & blowave or having highlights is my diversional therapy. Not only do I like the end result, but I enjoy chatting & being looked after so well.

I initially went to Headfirst to save a bit of money after going to another local salon for years. and I have but I havnt compromised on quality and service. All the staff are super friendly and genuinely enjoy their job and go all out to help you achieve the look you desire. Thanks John and Richard for guiding me through my ongoing colour transformation to blend my grey. I know I can trust you and that’s what we all want in a hairdresser??

I have been going to headfirst and specifically to Richard for many years and wouldn't trust anyone else to do my hair.

Headfirst is a happy, relaxed and vibrant salon. I feel very lucky that having moved to the area recently from Shropshire I’ve found a wonderful colourist in John and stylist in Jeremy. Thank you so much. I was dreading having to try out sub standard salons only to be disappointed but luckily I have fallen on my feet with Headfirst.

Everyone is always very friendly and attentive. Ellie, who does my hair, is just great! It’s clean and service is quick which I like. I’ve been to some salons for the same thing and it’s taken double the amount of time. Reasonable prices as well!

Great experience as usual

We regularly come to Head First. The service is amazing. Today my daughter (4) and son (7) had their hair cut by Stiofan. He’s great with the kids and always does a great cut. They always look forward to coming ( the lollipops might help too!! ? ) fabulous friendly professional salon. 5/5 from me!!!

I’ve been going to Ellie for years now at Head First and she really is great at her job! She knows my hair so well and always does it exactly how I like it! The salon is so clean and well maintained. All the staff at Head First are so friendly and welcoming.

A very relaxing and enjoyable experience every week for my regular blow-dry. Ellie is an excellent stylist and the owner, Jeremy, always cuts my hair superbly. The staff are most welcoming, which helps to create such a pleasant atmosphere.

The only difference I have ever noticed is that my hair is just shaved off these days ! There is so little left !!!
The staff are just so helpful and welcoming every time .
It’s always buzzing and busy in there . I enjoy every visit with my kids .
