Having not been to a hairdressers in years as I usually cut my own hair, but I know it could do with a proffesional trim. I felt very relaxed in here, nice friendly staff. I had a shine infinity treatment and I am very happy with the colour result and shine. I felt very comfortable with John he is very pleasant and chatty. I will return in the near future.

My stylist was lovely, he was very informative and explained everything he was doing and what was best for my hair and he did me a beautiful blowdry! Very nice and relaxing experience.

This is a friendly, easy going and helpful salon that is bright and cheerful on Harrogate Road just before Alwoodley Gates. Richard is a considerable asset to the business, having experience and a light and helpful manner.. If you need a haircut or something more complex this is the place to go.

Ellie listened to what I was saying and gave useful advice. She was lovely and warm and caring and did a lovely cut and colour whilst making me feel valued. Would definitely recommend.

This was my first visit to head first and I couldn't reccomed it enough.
John made me feel completly relaxed , I had a wash cut and blow dry and am so pleased with the result.
The salon had lovley vibe , and I couldn't reccomed john enough . I will definetly be returning! Thankyou very much !

I have been going to John at Headfirst since the beginning of this year, and I am so impressed by John's manner and the way that he colours and cuts my hair!! John is a perfectionist and spends ages colouring and cutting my hair! I am so glad that my daughter found this hairdressers for me and I wouldn't go anywhere else now! The salon is always clean and bright and all the stylists are very welcoming!

Ellie was easy to talk to, we discussed what I liked & what I wanted to achieve with my hair. She made some suggestions for colour, which I was very pleased with. It was nice to try a new salon for my hair, although a bit daunting! But im pleased to say i was happy with the end results & will be making another appointment. Thank you, everyone seems very friendly, a very happy bunch of people.

So glad I decided to try this hairdressers. All the staff were friendly and welcoming. There's a lovely atmosphere about the place and Helen who cut my hair made me feel really relaxed and comfortable. Great cut & blow dry. I love it. I've found my new hairdressers and will definitely be going back.

Ellie squeezed me in last minute and did a brilliant blow dry and style for an unplanned event.

Came in with a scruffy untidy mop of hair that had been sprouting for about 3 or 4 months and needed taming. Ellie was certainly up to the daunting challenge and I walked out 30 minutes later looking 10 years younger and a lot more respectable. Thank You Ellie!

John was fab, super friendly, made me feel comfortable and gave great advice / tips. Great atmosphere in the salon and amazing outcome - loved my hair and left feel great 😀

Arrived at the salon not looking good, but left the salon looking fab. Natasha did a great job and I was so pleased.

Helen gave me a conditioning treatment followed by a first class wash and blow dry. The salon was clean and all the staff were warm and friendly.

I was very nervous about having my hair cut but I shouldn’t have worried! John was amazing and gave me exactly what i asked for and has made me so happy!
