Natasha and Stephen did my hair today. I've been coming here for a while now and I have had other hairdressers do my hair too and the result is always great. It has a warm friendly energy and I love my hair when I leave. It's an excellent salon, really friendly, great value and I totally recommend!

Lovely professional blow dry . Super friendly . Took time and obviously cared. I was a few minutes late and everyone v kind about that .

Today was my first visit and I’ll be back. John was very friendly and knowledgeable about colouring and did an excellent job on both the colour and cut. I hadn’t had my hair done in more than 12 months. He gave good advice and also listened to my opinions on what my expectations were. Very pleasant day and lovely hair again.

John is an amazing hairstylist! He cuts and colours my hair with care rather than rushing through it. He’s so patient with my long hair!
He’s takes time out to spend with his clients and will make adjustments as he goes along. You can definitely put your trust in him with your head!

Helen was a true hero today. She completely transformed my hair style from dull long hair to graduated bob full of volume and style. She also did my hair colouring, balayage and we picked the colours together. It looks totally fabulous. Can't thank her enough for spending almost 4 hours on my hair and putting all that effort in.

I was a new customer at Headfirst and had a full head of colour, wash, cut and blowdry/style. Bea was thorough with every stage and went above and beyond to ensure I was happy with the service. Everyone was friendly in the salon, which made me feel welcomed and at ease. Thank you to those I interacted with, and to Bea who was friendly and thorough. I love the end result and will most certainly be back. :-)

John is a wonderful stylist, I trust him implicitly when it comes to cutting my hair, he has a world of experience and knowledge. I decided to have my hair cut short for the first time in my life (56 years) and John put me at ease, I Haven’t looked back, I’m so happy with my hair. Thankyou John

My hair looks absolutely amazing. John was lovely and made sure my colour was perfect. My hair wasn't in the greatest condition and was very grown out but john did an amazing job of covering my old colour and making sure all my hair was an even colour. I will definitely be back!

Headfirst is a Sandhill Parade institution! It’s been my “go to” salon for years! Always a friendly welcome and professional service on this occasion by Stephen who did my pre-holiday tidy up just fine. Why would you go anywhere else?

I’ve been to this salon before and had a good experience but this time, it was very poor. The stylist kept walking off to talk to other people, several times without even saying a word to me. I felt like she rushed the haircut and did a poor job, my hair looks like it was cut by someone who is learning to cut hair, not by a professional stylist.

Great colour and cut / trim.
Stephen always does what I ask for and works at a nice pace with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
