UBU Hair

Visited yesterday for a colour and cut. First of all the salon's atmosphere and cleanliness was immaculate. All the staff were extremely polite and friendly, which is an added bonus to make the experience that much more relaxing. My hair just feels absolutely Wow! Jess thank you and your supervisor for such a beautiful transformation and I am very grateful for all that you achieved with my hair results. Will be back in a for a refresh when required.

Had my usual cut and colour with Penny. As usual the salon was great, great chat and my hair looks fantastic. Highly recommend.

My expectations were not met…… the results were far better! Thank you to Holly who spent a lot of time and effort transforming my discoloured ginger bob, explaining exactly what she was doing throughout. I am really pleased with the result,, thank you Holly :)

I have been going to ubu hair dressers for some time now hair colourist Sam has always done my hair but all the stylists are very good and so friendly I’m always happy with my hair.

I was recommend to go to UBU by my daughters and their friends.
I’m so glad I did.
I wouldn’t change now.
Sam is brilliant.
All the staff are friendly, the salon is lovely and clean.
The music coffee and biscuits makes the appointment a treat.

I have been coming to UBU for at least the last 10 years, so really that say’s it all!.

I have Nikki but have had other stylists on the rare occasion Nikki has been unavailable. I can honestly say they are all professional and friendly.

I have always got my haircut at UBU hair. The staff are always so welcoming and friendly. I went in with a photo of how I would like my hair cut and styled and Nicki the hair stylist absolutely nailed it. Offering suggestions and advice on how to keep my hair looking amazing. I would definitely recommend this hairdressers if you want to feel comfortable and listened to.

I popped in for a a fringe trim with Holly. She gave an excellent service and cut my hair perfectly, very polite and kind.

This was my first outing anywhere after my stays in hospital. The staff were caring but not invasive as I walked with my new stick. My haircut and blow-dry were excellent and gave me such a boost which I really needed.

I had a half head of highlights and a cut and blow dry , with Holly . She was utterly fantastic , spent time looking at my hair , discussing exactly what I wanted in terms of cut and colour and offering really good advice . She also took a before and after picture , which really showed the difference . My colour is perfect and my cut is even better than I had hoped for . It's so good that, even though we've moved to a different part of the country, I still come back regularly to have my hair coloured by Sam. She is amazing and has worked with me over the years, to produce a lovely, subtle yet beautiful combination of colours that help define my natural hair colour whilst still covering the grey! I always feel great when I visit UBU and they will be a hard act to follow if I need to find a salon closer to home.

I am a wheelchair user. Salon was accessible. I didn't have to have my hair washed as I can't sit at the sinks. Had a dramatic crop and I am delighted with the result!

Kirsty did such a fabulous job on my hair! My hair felt really drab and flat and Kirsty listened to exactly what I wanted and worked her magic, she made me feel really comfortable throughout the appointment and chatted away to me. All the ladies are so lovely and friendly and make you feel really welcome. Jess also helped with my hair, she was so lovely too and constantly checked on me and offered me drinks. Thank you all!

I have been going to UBU for many years and had a number of stylists during that time. All are friendly, skilled, and professional. The salon is lively and welcoming and the stylists happy to make suggestions and work with me to achieve the look I want.

I have been going to Sam at UBU for about 18 months now. I really feel like I’m in expert hands- Sam gives me super advice on colour as I’m slowly going more and more grey, on style (as I grow my hair out) and on home hair care. I always walk away feeling totally confident about the way I look. And Sam is so lovely too!

Great local salon with friendly staff who I trust with their recommendations for my hair. I’ve used a few different stylists at this salon and all of them have been excellent. It’s taken me a while to find a good salon near me having moved to the area 4 years ago so I’m glad to have finally found one!
