After numerous failed attempts at getting the right haircut, I was thrilled to visit Shear Success and get it done right. Not only is my cut stunning, but the level of service is much higher than you would usually get- great drinks list, massage, a decent length of time taken to perfect the style. Really happy and will definitely be back.

Shear Success salon has a high level of service, talent and expertise. Angela has looked after my very curly hair for several years now and can work magic on it! She manages to blend my highlights in a way that I can go months without my roots done and it still looks good. There is a lovely atmosphere throughout the salon and whenever I go I am always made to feel special. The salon decor is tasteful and relaxing. All the staff are lovely and very well trained. The Aveda products use flower and plant essences and smell delightful! They are not cheap, but do last a long time. I can thoroughly recommend the Spa, too!

I was bored of my hair so i gave you guys a call with no idea what to do with my hair i was stuck. booking on the phone was quick simple and easy and was found a time that suited me perfect so quickly and with that i was booked in with Ryan. The colour and cut i have received was above and beyond any i have had at any other hair salon. Ryan went through every aspect of my hair cut and colour vigorously using the help of photos on the ipad which i feel is a amazing idea! the cut was perfect and suited me so well along with my colour. He was so lovely, professional and so funny i left with my sides split! after a bottle of complimentary wine and some glossy mags i knew i could not be any happier. Ryan is an asset to your company and i will be returning for him i have already booked my next appointment. Well done Shear Success! 5 stars xxx

Booked my mum and I in for nail appointments at the salon. From booking the appointments to the end result I have been extremely impressed. We were made to feel very welcome from the get go and offered drinks and to sit together throughout the treatments. There is a very relaxed atmosphere at the salon and we were also given a tour of the spa which could rival any of the bigger spas out there. The care and attention the staff put into their jobs was evident. Paula is a professional, friendly and accomplished technician. The time she took on the treatment gave an excellent end result. The salon offers a range of treatments and I am seriously considering changing to them for my hair too. They offer a full drinks menu ( to include a relaxing glass of wine!) they are also open late. What's not to like?! Paula we will be back, thanks so much for looking after us.

I arrived at Shear Success today very tired and stressed - Max listened carefully to what I needed from a hair cut, gave me good advice about looking after the condition of my hair and then gave me a reinvigorating head massage - all just what I needed! And then my hair cut was perfect - the style has sprung back to life and Max has showed me how to style it - fantastic work! Thank you!

My first time at Shear Success, and it's beautiful inside. I was made very welcome and Laura my stylist listened intently to what I wanted. I was having a hit scissor cut to seal the ends of my hair and it does already feel very different from my usual cut. Would go again. Recommended.

Fantastic wax today by Paula. She helped me relax and had a huge amount of knowledge which made me feel even more at ease. The wax wasn't anywhere as painful as I've experienced at other salons. Will definitely be back again! Thank you :)

It was my first time to Shear Success and I called up very last minute and I was managed to get seen just half an hour later which was great. Customer service and hospitality is extremely important to me and from the minute I arrived at the salon I felt at ease and welcomed.
I had the delight of Max who sorted my hair for me and he is a gem. A very friendly and professional gentleman who was lovely to chat to and very helpful in terms of hair advice.
I was surprised by a lovely head neck and shoulder massage and then had a shampoo, cut and blow dry. The total came to £39 with my £10 discount for being there for the first time and I think this was extremely well priced for the product and wonderful service that I received.
I don't leave reviews often but i feel that this salon needs a big mention with special thanks to Max, it's because of his kind hospitality and friendly nature that I will definitely be returning so thank you very much!

The booking wasn't processed correctly, the times were incorrect and the wrong treatment put in. We wanted something specific and spoke to the nail technician but someone else did it, who was lovely but hadn't done anything like it before. She did well considering what we wanted however, we should not have been charged full price as the experience just wasn't there. Having now spoken to other ladies who have nail art they advised me that £33 is expensive and to try somewhere else to get the detail just right. Lovely friendly staff at the salon.

It is a lovely relaxing experience right from walking through the door. I was offered a drink which came with a biscuit and then a relaxing mini massage all before my hair treatments which mere my opinion was considered before the lovely young man cut my hair. 10 out of 10 in my book can't wait to go again.

Felt welcomed to the Sutton branch. Offered drinks and seat quickly. Kept waiting for a period of time although I arrived on time; although salon appeared empty apart from the one client upstairs. Hairdresser engaged well and understood my needs. Lovely personality. Very professional. Very happy with my cut and style.

Aveda is a brilliant option for organic hair colouring. The product doesn't smell strong and doesn't feel funny when it's applied .My hair feel v.nourished. Service is exemplary especially with all the complementary massages. I would highly recommend .

I've had some pretty rough experiences over the years and know only too well how a bad hair cut can literally destroy your confidence. After yet another truly appalling hair cut I went to Helen for advice. Not only was everyone in the salon really friendly, Helen did her best at minimal cost to put the damage right. I went again 4 weeks later and after one haircut with Helen I don't think I'll be going anywhere else for quite a long time.

This is simply the best hot stones massage, firm pressure to get rid of the knots but the soothing heat from the stones is pampering bliss, can't wait for my next one!

I had a restyle today by Helen. From the minute I walked into the salon I was looked after wonderfully. Great consultation- Helen really listened. Followed by a great neck and head massage, then the cut and style was amazing. I'm thrilled with up my new look and have already booked my next appointment with Helen.

I have just had the most wonderful experience at shear success mere green with max! My hair is looking fabulous and healthy! Everyone was so friendly as soon as I walked in! I had a lovely coffee and head massage and have come away feeling very relaxed with exactly the cut I was hoping for!

As always i received a first class beauty treatment from Paula, on this occasion a Manicure and Pedicure. As the Autumn is well upon us, with Paula's expert assistance i decided on a dark plum colour for my nails. A week later the polish is stil perfect. Great experience all round. Would highly recommenend

I hadn't been to Shear Success for years as I lived down south but have just moved back and needed my highlights done so thought I would go back. I had Helen who was absolutely lovely and really understood what I wanted. The salon was so relaxing and I even got a courtesy hand and arm massage whilst waiting for my colour to dry. Everyone made trying a new salon having been down south for eight years, so easy and I would definitely recommend the salon and Helen who was fab and gave great advice. The ambience is relaxing, and staff are friendly yet so professional. Max does my cut and colour. He is the best hairdresser I've ever had, and I've been to some high end establishments in London and Birmingham. He always takes time to listen to me and so he understands what I want. My colour (highlights) has never been better and really suits me and cut is fab!

After a busy few weeks I had developed aches and pains from not sitting properly at my desk at work so decided to treat myself to a Shear Success Stress Fix Massage.

It was fantastic, one of the best massages I've had that focussed on the knotted areas of my back that needed attention. Now my back is much better and can't wait to book my next appointment.

Been here before (over a year ago) and felt truely pampered. Whilst happy with the cut this time all very rushed and hectic, was left for over 5 mins mid-cut, no relaxing mini-massage offered until i enquired about it. Not worth the mobey i'm afraid....

I have been using this lovely salon for a few years now and I always enjoy every visit. All staff are lovely and look after you from the minute you walk in until you leave. You always feel pampered !

This has been the best waxing experience I have endured in my 15 years of waxing. Therapy and relaxation ritual before and after that made the experience a pleasure one.

Just back from another visit to my favourite hair salon and I feel good, der duh der duh...!

Angela knows my hair so well and, what with her expertise and the quality Aveda products (plus the complimentary neck and shoulder massage) I know it is money well spent.

Had root colour and cut. Haidresser was friendly but sloppy. Failed to cover all my grey hair. Not the first time it's happened. Paid a lot of money for substandard service. Very disappointed!
