I was really pleased and impressed with my haircut at Headmasters today. I have been coming for quite a few years and all three people who have cut my hair have been brilliant and I always leave happy. It is not only that they are good at their jobs, but also I feel very comfortable there even though I am not the most glamourous person. Despite looking incredibly polished themselves, the staff are not at all judgmental. I was extra impressed with Nathan today who did such a speedy job of making my curly thin hair look amazing. The chairs are also very comfortable

I had a consultation for a cut and blow dry and colour with Hannah , who was very personable , friendly and knowledgable.
There was a nice atmosphere in the salon and i booked an appointment , which I then had to cancel later because I hadn’t had my diary with me and realised I’d double booked.
Not impressed at having to pay £50 deposit upfront but presumably there’s a good reason for that.

Popped in for a consultation with Hannah regarding colour and style. She was a lovely personable friendly girl and helped me to decide exactly what I want. Highly recommend.

Been visiting headmaster for a few years now. I always choose Mel for how professional she is, she just makes magic happens!

After chemo I was struggling to get back to feeling good about my hair. My grow back colour was grey and despite my own hairdresser trying to get me back to blonde I still wasn’t happy. My first appointment at Headmasters with Nathan was great. He really listened to what I wanted and got me back to a lovely blonde first try. I was so impressed with the service overall and the cut & blow dry Hannah gave me. Finally feel like myself again hair wise, which is a big thing after cancer. Will be returning. Thank you.

I visited with my 19 year old daughter, who was actually having the haircut. I sat waiting. We were greeted cordially and throughout the wait every staff member who passed by or looked in my direction smiled and was friendly. There were lots of current (this month and next month’s) and quality magazines to read, a bonus. The seating was comfortable enough but would have preferred a lower seat as high chairs make it a bit awkward for me to fully relax. My daughter was attended to quickly and I could see that her stylist was attentive and friendly. The whole salon ambience was relaxed, friendly and professional. My daughter’s finished hair was, as usual, beautiful. She is never disappointed. Megan is lovely, courteous, helpful and accommodating. We had ordered products by post but, due to stock issues, had to collect them in store. The postage was taken off the haircut price.
We travel from a considerable distance to use Headmasters but it’s truly worth it.
For me, the only improvement is that waiting guests be offered a drink. My daughter was, as the actual customer, but I’d happily pay for a drink whilst there.

Mel is a colour angel, you can choose from now on, you know what I need before I know what I want!

I’ve been going to Tom for a while now and we’re just on the same wavelength. Great talent, a good laugh. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Have every confidence in Nathan. He knows my hair after cutting / styling it for many years and I am able to relax and let him get on with it 😆

I will, with the greatest of pleasure.. Mel makes my day. She knows exactly what I want. And the result is always really lovely.

I’ve been coming to Headmasters for several years and have been looked after by many of the team during that time. Have always been welcomed warmly and had a relaxing experience. Any issues have been addressed promptly and without fuss. My teenage daughter has now started to use this salon too and she is also very comfortable here.

Always made to feel welcome on arrival and offered a drink if I’m early. Tom always asks exactly how I’d like my hair cut and does a superb job every time. He makes sure I’m completely happy before I leave and even reminds me to book my next appointment.

Hannah did a smashing job colouring my hair today achieving a lovely creamy white tone. A good trim too and all with 2 hours. This is very good as I have long hair!

Love everyone at this salon. I normally go to Nathen as I have extensions and he is amazing at them !! But when I need a tint or toner anyone is fab - they are such a good team and you are well looked after - with years and years of staff retention and experience
