About us

TONI&GUY Newcastle-upon-Tyne opened in the city centre in 1995, recently relocating to Haymarket. We are committed to providing the ultimate salon experience, paying great attention to customer service.

Our talented team of stylists and technicians are on hand to give you expert advice and create hair that is individual and easy to live with, interpreting fashion trends with versatile wearable styles. Members of our salon are part of the TONI&GUY Session Team and have worked alongside the International Artistic Team on catwalk shows at London Fashion Week, bringing the latest trends from the catwalk to our clients.

We offer many additional services including Bridal and Occasion hair and the NanoKeratin Smoothing blow-dry. Our wide range of haircare products include label.m, Kerastase, GHD, L’Oreal and Tangle Teezer to keep your hair salon perfect until your next visit.

STRENGTH IN STYLE
Strength in Style is now available in this salon, offering people affected by cancer specialist support and advice on hair care. This service includes styling pre, during and post treatment hair, and wig personalisation with the option to purchase synthetic and human hair wigs. Nick cut my hair before but because he's busy somewhere, Amy we're the one who takes the job and it's fabulous, she talk to me ask me what I want and teach me how to keep my hair as good as today. I want the straightener but it's out of stock, she helps me book for my hair colour too, I have been feeling VIP treatment from the receptions to the shampooing of my hair to my hair cut. I love the Salon and all the staff who take care of me. My self esteem is very low when I came in, I thought Tony & Guy is where I should go to make me feel great again and that's how I feel when I left the Salon this afternoon proudly happy person. Thank you Amy and to everyone xxx

Fantastic team & fantastic stylist! I walked in without an appointment and was able to squeezed in and was treated very nicely by all staff I interacted with. Emma was very good and offered great advice on whether or not the style I wanted would be achievable. I left very confident that I made the right choice dropping in! I came into the salon after a really bad experience with a previous hairdresser at a different salon. I was seen immediately for a consultation and was given an appointment within two days. Scott was really knowledgable and I felt confident he knew how to fix the problem. Couldn’t be happier with the result and I felt he genuinely cared about making sure I was happy with how it looked. Ended up with a very natural looking balayage and no signs of the harsh lines of colour that I had going in. Highly recommend.

Been putting off my haircut for a while, and it really showed.

Tried out Toni&Guy for the first time, and was incredibly impressed. I left feeling like my hair was totally rejuvenated and it made me feel great.

Matthew was fabulous, and he gave me some pointers about what to do with my hair next. Don't think I'll be booking appointments anywhere else in the future!

Absolutely lovely guy he sat and talked through what I wanted and advised what was best for my dry hair , overall very happy with Scott and service from others as even though he had finished work he still sat in the salon till I was completely finished , he is a credit to Toni and guy and you don t come across many hairdressers like this , 10 out 10 so happy with colour and cut from Emma ,

Wonderful friendly service. Newcastle staff are so welcoming and put you at your ease as soon as you walk into the salon. I have very thin fine hair and Matthew’s cut made it look so much thicker, fuller and healthier.

TONI&GUY Newcastle-upon-Tyne opened in the city centre in 1995, recently relocating to Haymarket. We are committed to providing the ultimate salon experience, paying great attention to customer service.
