Graham done a fantastic job on my stepsons hair. He always struggled with confidence, and felt nervous about getting his hair trimmed after a year of growing. Graham took his time to understand what my boy wished for and executed it perfectly. Never seen him so happy after a haircut.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this salon and, especially, my stylist Izzie. From the moment you walk in, you’re made to feel genuinely cared for, but Izzie takes that to another level entirely. She is kindness personified - patient, warm, endlessly thoughtful, and wonderfully funny. Izzie always goes the extra mile to make sure my comfort and happiness comes before anything else, and that care never feels rushed or routine. Every appointment feels personal, relaxed, and full of trust, knowing I’m in truly capable and compassionate hands. I’m almost reluctant to share their details because it honestly feels like I’ve discovered a hidden treasure - one I’m incredibly grateful for. This salon is something special, and Izzie is an absolute gem. If you’re lucky enough to book in, you’ll understand exactly what I mean.

Always a great haircut

As always, I came away with a great haircut from Claire Myers! I decided to have a change and go a little shorter. Claire advised me on the perfect style and I love it!

Today was my second visit to the salon and like the last time I left feeling like I’d been going there for years. All the staff are lovely, so friendly from walking in the door!
Another fabulous haircut from Claire who was patient, professional and just lovely. Claire asked if I’d been happy with the last cut and asked me about what I wanted today, she went on to explain what she was doing and made me feel like a valued client.
My only regret is not finding the salon sooner! Thank you!

My first time at David Harvey following a recommendation from my family. Claire was excellent. She asked questions about my hair, and came up with suggestions. She made me feel at ease and I was delighted with the cut and blow dry. I have also made a 2nd appointment with her.

I've been going to Graham for nearly 4yrs now. He's seen me and my hair through a lot since I moved to the NE.
I always leave with hair that I love, feeling like I've spent the last few hours laughing and catching up with a friend.
Graham is an absolute gem of a man, and really, really good at what he does. Anybody would be really would be lucky to get him as their hairdresser.

I have came back to the salon 4 times now and my hairdresser is Thomas. I have an amazing, relaxing experience from the minute I walk into the salon to the minute I leave. Always over the moon with how my hair looks, 100% recommend 💖
