Lovely relaxing salon experience. Zoe is an amazing stylist and always leaves my fizzy unruly locks looking lovely

We have followed Zoe from 3 other saloons & have always had a fantastic wash/cut & rough blow dry !
We cannot fault Zoe at all, always happy to see us, actually listens to what we would like & does a fantastic job !

However we are very disappointed to hear of a pay increase to the customers !

Booked a blowdry via Treatwell showed the stylist how my hairdresser blow dries my hair explained it was for a special event I gave long thick hair - she said using steam pods are better for longer lasting curls she was finished in less than 20 minutes and my hair has zero bounce or curl. Beyond upset was pure laziness from the stylist not wanttto blowdry curls - never in my life has a blow dry taken less than 20 minutes on my long thick hair. Beyond upset

I was delighted with the service I had and Chelsea did a great job of styling my hair- thank you.

I met with Chiara for a consultation about what to do with my hair. I asked about having an all over tint and highlights, however she explained valid reasons for not having the tint. I also asked about a particular style which she said should suit me. I left feeling positive and confident about my appointment this Saturday. Thank you

Great as ever

Im very happy with the customer service and the quick turn around with my wig. Whilst blow drying a wig isn't something they usually do, Chiara was kind enough to take it and give it a good wash. I couldnt be happier.

I am very happy with Lily (trainee) always come out of salon with my hair looking great.

Thank you, Zoe, for an excellent cut and super blow dry as always. Thank you too, Julie, for Gav’s great cut (you know how fussy I am!). Such a lovely team at the salon and I always look forward to my weekly visits.

From walking in I was impressed with the kindness and care taken. My shampoo was a pleasure and my stylist understands exactly how I like my hair cut.

I come to the salon every week and always have an excellent blow dry from Zoe. Sarah Jane colours my hair on a regular basis and I am always delighted and receive many compliments. Her expertise really is second to none. Lily or Cleo usually wash my hair and they always take the time to ensure they do a super job. The atmosphere at The Academy is extremely pleasant and the team spirit is very evident. I thoroughly enjoy every visit. I would also add that i’ve been recovering from a fractured ankle and all the staff have gone out of their way to ensure the extra assistance I’ve needed has been given. Many thanks.

Excellent haircut from Chiara!!

Sarah Jane has been colouring my hair for many years and I followed her to the Academy. On my second visit last week she used a thermal mixing machine to mix the colour and this method was much kinder to my sensitive scalp and I had no itching or soreness afterwards. I was also very happy with my haircut from Salv. All the staff are friendly and efficient… loved my visit!

My little one (she’s 2 ) loved it - first hair cut! :) Zoe was super patient with her and made her a lovely plat! Happy little girl so we go again in 8 weeks!

My first visit at the salon today!
I am a hairdresser of over 20 years and have never made time for myself untill today!
Was always asking my daughters to quickly whack on my semi and trying desperately to thin my own hair out….
Definitely after today has made me realise it’s so important to look after yourself!!
Fantastic experience, Zoe was very confident in her work and gave me plenty of advice regarding treatments and colour she would advise!
Great ambience in the salon, apprentices very professional which is such a blessing!!
Receptionist Emma, lovely and attentive, was very chatty.
Also learnt that Gill Cowan who actually trained myself back in 1996 is training your girls still! Amazing lady inside and out!
Have rebooked for my xmas bdry!

SJ used the new 'magic' Thermal mixing machine ( dont know what its called !) to mix the hair colour .vIts a revelation ! it means the hair colour now doesnt make your scalp itch whilst its on your hair ...so no more asking for the metal comb to itch & scratch whilst sitting there waiting for the colour to 'take ' . Bliss

A very nice salon, my first time. Very nice atmosphere. Lovely lady who washed my hair and then Zoe is an incredible stylist. I’ve never looked better. Zoe has actually transformed how I look. She is fantastic. A fabulous job in cutting and blow drying my hair.

She washed and dried my long hair taking very kindly care for every section of my hair. Also she was very professional and friendly that planning to see her again in my next visit.

Such a relaxing experience, I loved every moment from the hair wash and scalp massage to the cut and blow dry.
All fantastic, very friendly.
