I've been going to T&G in Guildford for many years and always look forward to the lovely head massage but this time my hair was washed by the stroppiest girl I've ever come across. She huffed and puffed while she slapped on the shampoo and before I knew it she had already done the conditioner and was shooing my out of the chair. I asked what happened to the head massage and she made up some rubbish about the hairdresser being short of time. My trips to the hairdresser are a big expense so very unhappy about this and considering trying another salon in Guildford.

Great colour. Good time management. Good blow dry.

Worth the 100 mile drive I make to get to see Tim who has a surgeon’s touch and an eye for what’s right, creating the finest cut that suits me every time.

The staff make me feel good just walking through those doors at Toni&Guy Guildford. The atmosphere is vibrant so that tells you the staff are happy. Gareth does amazing magic with my hair. It uplifts my week going there and I drive 30miles for the pleasure!

First time I’ve had an appointment with Nadia & wanted a nice blow dry with body for my birthday party.
She listened well to what I wanted & really happy with result!

As usual the staff were friendly & helpful. Lisa always knows how to achieve the look I want. I wouldn’t go anywhere else

I arrived at the Guildford Salon to be told that my stylist was on holiday; that I had been called previously by the salon about this.
I definitely did not receive this call, neither did I get a voice message as I clearly would have rebooked. The person who dealt with this at the reception was most insincere in their apology and I felt did not care a jot.

Eventually after I stood my ground another stylist was found and I was taken and given good service.
Uncharacteristically poor for T& G in my experience....

Came in today for t section as have Bond extensions . Fab atmosphere today all girls excited re the managers hen do .
Fantastic colour and service from. Beautiful Lauren and the lovejy Macy’ blow dried my hair to perfection then curled it for me as now I have extensions I can . Nothing too much trouble love you guys

Been going for 6 or 7 years but only for a single reason - I like my stylist. It REALLY annoys me every time I give them my business because the salon is always shabby, the service is never better than average (and often shockingly rude) and overall staff attitude is awful. Last Sunday I had the first appointment of the day and there was still hair on the floor, on my chair and on the table in front of me. The shiny table tops had drinks rings on them. I often take the first appointments and the salon is never truly clean. In the middle of the day it's awful. The junior washing my hair looked like she hated every part of her job and it's rare to get a cheerful one, even though I go out of my way to be friendly and charming. At least she offered me a drink - 50% of the time I have to ask. There is seldom any job pride shown by any of the support staff. After maybe 35 visits I was asked if I wanted a loyalty card. "Is that new?" I asked. "No," came the reply, "I don't know why you haven't been offered it before." I've never seen a manager walking the floor and checking things are running smoothly. Sorry, but this place is the dirtiest and worst salon I'be ever been to, and if it wasn't for my friendship with my stylist I'd never go there. Nobody seems to care. I certainly cannot recommend it.

Friendly profession staff

I had a great experience at Toni&Guy in Guildford. One of the senior stylists fixed my slightly boring haircut really well!

I saw my consultant I see all the time and as always a great experience. I was seen by a gentleman after who dried my hair. He spoke to English and it was very difficult to communicate what I wanted. He put a load of foam in my hair which made it very sticky and lank after I left.
I felt sorry for him as he clearly wanted to do his best but didn’t understand me.
I don’t think this is really reasonable.

I started going to T &G Guildford after a dreadful experience at another salon. Staff are so welcoming & friendly. Happy buzz around the place & the staff are v professional. Carlie & Stephanie are Ace.

Thanks again to Gareth for a fabulous blow dry and your new Italian Bruno was charming!

Really pleased with my haircut

Lisa restyled my hair this week and it was a really excellent experience. She is very skilled at cutting. My haircut is flattering and super easy to look after. Lisa understood precisely what I was hoping for. I’m now pleased not to have to go to London anymore for haircuts.

Very busy Saturday. Such a lovely girl who washed and blow dried my hair, love seeing her. Great colour by Jade! Please please do something about the hair washing chairs they are always broken and so uncomfortable!!!! They have been there years. Please can you get some sweeteners for coffee. It takes so Longford for a colour why not get a beautician in to offer a manicure and paint polish. Extra revenue. Better customer service.
