About us

Julia Lampard boutique hair salon is a retreat in the heart of Guildford where you can be assured of a warm welcome and relaxed environment. Julia and her team are dedicated to making you feel and look good whatever your lifestyle and personal hair care routine.

Looking after clients is our priority and we aim for the highest quality in all we do. Our stylists are trained at leading internationally recognised training schools and we choose only the very best natural, yet luxurious, products. We use Davines and keune, independent companies that formulate, test and make their products in their own laboratories, and colour from Keune’s So Pure range, which is ammonia- and paraben-free. Our colouring techniques include Ombre and Balayage, where the colour is applied by hand, and for straighter hair we offer Keratin Complex Smoothing Therapy.

An important part of our business is our personalised wig and hairpiece service. We are the only salon in Guildford committed to supplying and styling ladies' and gentlemen’s wigs. Whether a wig is needed for medical reasons such as alopecia or chemotherapy, to enhance confidence and well-being, or to bring a touch of glamour to life, we will help customers to choose and style a hairpiece. Our ranges include Ellen Wille, Dening Hair, Trendco and Dimples.

My hair was completely destroyed by a colourist at this salon. 9 months in and I am still having to grow out the straw that resulted from the colouring. Do not get your hair coloured here.

I have put a lot of thought into replying and finding very difficult knowing how to respond. All our colours are PPD, Ammonia and Paraben-Free that are very kind and gentle to the hair and the scalp. I so needed to discover this salon and experience Ross' expertise in colour. My problem was salons using products that contain PPD causing severe and annoying skin irritation. I feared it was a health hazard. Julia Lampard's is a salon I highly recommend. This is the first time I have had my roots coloured free of wanting to scratch my head. I was also impressed by the very friendly, helpful staff, relaxing mood music, beautiful decor, and delicious coffee. This is THE life. Thank you Julia and the attention and skill of Ross.

The salon is in a lovely location in Guildford and as soon as you walk through the doors the salon looks beautifully presented and professional. I came in for my first appointment with Meghan who helped me choose the perfect hairpiece, I have very fine hair which has got a lot thinner with the menopause. I then came into to see Julia who expertly cut my hair and blended in the hairpiece, the transformation was amazing, I left the salon feeling very confident and delighted with the end result, Julia is a first class hairdresser and I would recommend her and her expert team to anyone. I will now make Julia Lampard my first choice of hair salon in future.
