I moved to cobham over look down and very much struggled to find a salon that could match my desired colour with my skin tone . I have been using the Academy since trying a a good handful locally and they have nailed it every time . I am always happy with the colour . My stylist both Amy and Bobby I can not reccomend enough . The work produced even just popping in for a blow dry is great as my hair is very difficult to hold but I am always content with the service .
All in all from the receptionist Tracey who makes you feel welcomed from the moment you walk in and constant refills of tea / coffee is all part of their amazing service . I would not trust anywhere else for my colour

Im writing to you just to give you some feedback on my visit to your Cobham salon in December.
My appt was the first of three which I purchased as part of a promotion when a sales rep came into my office in Ashtead.
Im getting emails chasing me to come back in for my second appointment but I will not be doing so. My whole experience wasn’t particularly pleasant and I did not feel comfortable at all.
The stylist didn’t want to engage in any conversation with me and wasn’t interested in looking at any photos of what I wanted. On numerous occasions she told me my hair was in very bad condition and I should get a trim more often. Whilst she was layering my hair she asked me whether I wanted a particular type of layering, I’m no hairdresser, so I asked what she meant and she snapped a reply. Then while she was cutting it I mentioned I had a side parting and again she snapped a reply.
I’m not doubting her ability at cutting hair and I’m quite happy with the actual cut. I just felt that as I was there as part of a promotion I wasn’t treated as a paying customer. There was no friendly customer service and I really felt second class. So I won’t be coming back for my second appointment.
When the rep came into my office he said the object of the promotion was to get people to come back. I’m afraid my visit had the opposite effect and from the service I received I don’t feel I can recommend Academy Salons.
