I was delighted with my morning at Hersham saloon with the brilliant Sarah. Nothing is too much trouble for her and the rest of the staff, and I left a very happy customer.

Have used Academy for shellac manicure for some time and always very happy with all of the manicurists. Natalia is always very lovely to chat and does a great job on my nails!

Meryl has a wonderful personality and gave wonderful customer service. A brilliant hair stylist - she knows about my hair type and gave good advice on how to overcome problems with greasy hair. Her cutting style and method is magnificent. She layered my hair delicately into a Bob and framed my face to make the most of my features. I have complete confidence her abilities. I will definitely come back in future, she has raised my confidence about my appearance. I am really pleased

Advice about colour services completely unnecessary as Lisa has been colouring my hair for years.

I’ve spent a long time stripping my hair back to its natural auburn colour, I asked for an all over colour the same as my hair to hide my greys and i’ve had a very dark colour put on that’s nothing like my own hair. I thought it was strange that no one came over and matched my hair with anything. After sleeping on it I hate it and feel robbed of £174!

Overall, I was disappointed.
My eyebrows did not have all the hair removed despite me asking the therapist to use more wax. I then had to ask her to cut the middle part of my eyebrows which she reluctantly did. When I then asked her to trim them a little more she said ‘oh you want a blunt look?’ It seemed an unnecessary comment and she should have been focusing more on customer satisfaction than commenting on what ‘look’ I wanted. I had a spray tan the day before and she asked me if I was going into any shops afterwards as if to imply that I shouldn’t because the wax had removed some of my tan. Again an unnecessary comment. £20 is a lot to pay for an eyebrow wax that was just over 5 mins long and not performed to a good standard at all.
When I arrived home, I could see so many hairs still remaining. The therapist also commented on my trainers saying ‘they are really uncomfortable’ and when I said I didn’t find them uncomfortable, she said ‘you’re one of the lucky ones.’ Again, an unprofessional and inappropriate comment to make.
I will not be returning.

A good hair colour and Blowdry a mix up with timings due to staff sickness which was annoying but the overall treatment was excellent

Amazing service. Team spoilt my girls completely. So caring and kind. They had a wonderful time getting their nails done and I was even gifted a complimentary voucher. I was truly touched to receive it. It was a wonderful time for all of us. I cannot thank the team enough and cannot wait to return!

I hate to say this but my hair looks awful. Nothing like the photo of my hair done previously which I showed the stylist and which she assured me she could reproduce easily. Perhaps not enough product or not enough care taken? I don’t know. I am not the expert. What I do know is that not only have I wasted my money but I feel very let down. I only treat myself to a hair stylist for special occasions. I do not want anyone to get into trouble. The girls are all very charming and I was given a very nice cup of coffee. I would be interested to hear from you to discuss my experience. Thank you.

The entire operation at the academy is first class. The team are very warm and welcoming from the moment you arrive at reception, the stylists are extremely well trained and the client care is 2nd to none. Very happy with my haircut as always, can’t recommend you enough

First time here, hadn’t had my hair cut since before the first lockdown, (my hair was extremely long!) the salon I used for years had closed and I really didn’t know where to go when I remembered I knew Tracy the receptionist so popped in. Very helpful.
If like me you like the salon experience, I want pampering for an hour with a cup of tea and a friendly face, look no further!
Bobbi was amazing, showed her a photo of a short bob and I’m over the moon! It really does look like the photo!
I highly recommend Academy Salon Cobham, I will return.
